Well researched, thoughtful food choices. The Saigon to Stockholm tour was an exceptional 2 1/2 hour excursion through two of the cites more obscure communities. Phyliss’s engaging story telling and exceptional food knowledge crafted a memorable experience.

Will definitely look for the next great adventure on subsequent visits to the Windy City.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed touring Argyle and Andersonville and were so happy to see, taste and feel Chicago as a local. We felt a total immersion into the neighborhoods that we visited and came away with a more holistic understanding of the where/what/why of the neighborhoods. Phyllis was a wealth of knowledge and a great tour guide as we walked through these neighborhoods. And! the food was fantastic. The variety, coupled with Phyllis' explanation of it, can't be beat. A very well spent 3 hours.

We were a group of girlfriends visiting Chicago and we did the Saigon to Stockholm tour. We loved it! It was a great mix of tasty food and history of the Argyle and Andersonville neighborhoods. Phyllis was a wonderful guide and has put together a fantastic tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and we are hoping she will have another tour we can do when we visit next year.

This is a good food tour and I would recommend it. The only thing I would caution on is that it's long. 3 1/2 hours, an hour of which could easily be reduced with less standing around listening to historical information. A tour of this length is just too long. We had plenty to eat and thoroughly enjoyed most of the stops. But in between the stops there were long-winded stops to view historical area's with long, drawn out narratives. A brief explanation would have been much better. And it would have reduced this overly long tour.

Am amazing, delicious, and informative tour. Phyllis does an A+ job at giving you historical information and delicious food on this tour. I brought my 13 year old daughter and she had a blast as well. Would recommend to anyone of any age.

I have lived in the Uptown neighborhood for about 8 years.
I heard about this food tour, and thought it sounded like fun. I had NO idea how much I'd learn, how many new places I"d discover, and how fun it would be. Our tour guide Phyllis was amazing. You could tell how much she loves her job, just by her enthusiasm. She has great facts and tidbits about the neighborhood, as well as a fun and warm personality. I highly recommend this tour!

Phyllis, our guide, has a true love of her neighborhood. Her insights into its inhabitants and history made the enjoyment of the wonderful foods she has aligned all the more enjoyable. Her enthusiasm is contagious and make you fall under her spell. This is one great tour.

What an enjoyable tour! Phyllis really knows her neighborhood and all its history
and cool background.

I'm a foodie but it's hard for me to step out of my comfort zone and try new
things. My first bahn mi was a true discovery and delight - I'm going back for more!

If you have friends or relatives coming for a visit -- put this on your things to do
list -- everyone will be assured a great time - and experience!

We've done food tours in other cities, but never in our own. Even though we thought we knew a bit about this area, we were taken to places we had missed and told about information we hadn't known. The stops were all delicious. The food was plentiful. And best of all, Phyllis is a culinary school graduate with knowledge to share. For example, we've eaten a ton of mid-Eastern food, but nobody has ever set up a tasting of various spice mixes along with the excellent hummus. She knows the neighborhood and the people in the stores. There is quite a bit of walking, which might help burn off a few of the calories. Can't wait until this company debuts its 606 tasting tour!
