Small little store front. Free entry. Easy walk from Jefferson blue line EL. Next to Jefferson Park. Fast food restaurants nearby as well as Gale Street Inn, a nice sit down restaurant.

You don't have to go downtown for relevant art. Jefferson Park is as far (or close) as you have to go!

This fine, small museum houses a representative sample of the works of one of Chicago's, and the world's, great artists. Ed Paschke's use of color and his fascinating images reflect a whimsical, sometimes searing view of the world. As he said in the riveting film...More

A great little museum dedicated to arguably Chicago's greatest artist. There is a nice selection of paintings and other works spanning the breadth of his career. There is a recreation of his studio with some works that were in progress at his death in 2004....More

You could probably just park by the museum and walk across the street. There are quite a few little places nearby. If you need an actual recommendation, I think you should call the museum and ask whoever answers the phone.
