Was not impressed
Jul 2019
Let me start by saying I’m a huge sports fan. I love visiting new stadiums. I wanted to see Cubs but they were out of town. Sox stadium is nice it’s just not anything special. Wasn’t much of an atmosphere and was kinda boring between innings. Food was nice and plenty of variety. Just nothing really stood out here.

Brilliant Stadium
Jun 2019
We really enjoyed our visit to watch the White Sox. The stadium is very nice - we had a great view in our seats - behind home plate - and the food was very good.

The food is not overly expensive - it is pretty regular as far as price goes - but we really enjoyed both the Beggars Pizza and the Chicago Dogs they sell - among the best stadium food we have ever had.

I found parking to be safe, close, and a fair price - and our was pretty full as we were departing Chicago - but it was a day game.

It's not as famous as Wrigley but it is a very nice stadium.

Go Enjoy!

Take Me out to the ball game...
Sep 2019 • Family
The Chicago White Sox offer one of the most fan friendly ball parks in the American League. The 2 level Kids’ Zone gives the families such baseball fun to sharpen their skills with real coaches, speed running against former players, pitching - speed & accuracy, running the bases, and more! Before and after the games, actual SOX players are on the field signing autographs (no fees). Sundays are family days & following the games, kids are allowed to run the actual bases (the line forms on the 1st level midway, even with 1st base).
Guaranteed Rate Field offers great seating. There are 5 seating levels which include 2 suite levels. Special seats with dining and in-seat services are on the 1st and 3rd levels. Level 3 (Club Level) seats has in-door seating with dining tables, as well as sofas and easy chairs.
The variety of beer selections can satisfy any connoisseur’s tastes. A Chicago favorite “Goose Island” even has its own Right Field Lower Deck Section with an XL goose head for fans to enjoy together.
Along the 1st level midway, there are refreshment and souvenir shops plus the multi-level SOX store. Before and during Family Sunday games aa well as the Ethnic & Special Days, there are kid’s face coloring, poster making, and kid’s games.
Guaranteed Rate Field is clean. The SOX has workers always picking up trash ang working to give fans a good place to visit. There are sufficient bathrooms with a monitor inside. There are plenty of drinking fountains. The vendors are nice and friendly and very helpful.
A game-day or night trip to watch the Chicago WhiteSox
at Guaranteed Rate Field is worth the experience. Our seats were on the Club Level, Section 326 on a beautiful 76 degree summer evening. We went back the next night and sat in the lower deck in left field. We were worried about the view since Chicago put safety netting up to protect the fans from fast foul balls. It took us 2 minutes to figure out we had adjusted.
If you have young baseball fans, be sure to visit the kid’s zone, it is open for every game. It is special! It was recommended to us to go before and during the early part of the game. It fills up about the 3rd to 4th inning and the lines get long - especially the pitching and batting skills. Have fun!

The MLB experience for next to nothing
Sep 2019 • Solo
The home of the Chicago White Sox! Nowadays this is actually in the older and smaller halves of MLB stadiums when you rank them by opening date and capacity. The White Sox are not as popular as the Cubs, who have a longer history in the Windy City and play in the venerable Wrigley Field ballpark. In my opinion, the best thing about Guaranteed Rate Field is how cheap the bleacher seats are. I paid just $7 for my ticket! (Maybe I shouldn’t be saying this, but given that the White Sox are in the bottom third of MLB teams for attendance and that there were so many empty seats to choose from, I was able to sit in a great spot a couple rows behind home plate without issue). If you’re in the city during baseball season and love the game, but don’t want to pay Cubs prices, you can get better seats here than you’d get in your home ballpark for a fraction of what you’d normally pay.

Great visit
Jun 2019
We were visiting from Australia. I recommend looking up the ticketing website to see if there are free giveaways. We got a really cool T-shirt by being early into the park. Also make sure you have the ballpark app downloaded and check-on via that app as you may be lucky enough to get something else.

Comiskey Park!!

Actually, I haven't been here in years, but the new name is a turn-off. Still, you'll get to see some great games here, and I believe they still have a fireworks display when the Sox win.

Great Night at the Ballpark
Jul 2019 • Family
My first visit to see the White Sox. I was a guest with my daughter and grand daughter. Actually I am a Red Sox fan!

Sat up front near first base and felt part of the action. The Sox won in extra innings.

What impressed me the most was the friendly atmosphere of the fans and ballpark employees. The crowds were orderly- no pushing to get to the concessions and no pushing to exit after the game.

The fans were entertained not only by the players and the game but by the established rituals of the ballpark itself- fireworks after a home run, prizes for winning tickets, etc.

Its not my team but I would go again for the fun of the park.
