This was all I hoped for. The venue itself is amazing with three levels of seating and multiple bars. Despite the size it has a small venue feel with many good viewing and listening locations. The music act was excellent and the food was good.

We loved this venue, the staff were great and good prices! We went with a group of friends and had a ball. Kristy served us and she made such a fuss of our son.... You must check this place out!

Went on a Sunday night, sat at the bar and heard a great blues band. For convenience I decided to eat dinner there based on the fact that I could soak up more music. I didn't expect much from the food and my expectations were fully met! I ordered the jambalaya and it was pretty tasteless. In fairness this may... More

Venue is well-known for music, but the brunch food is exceptional! Carving station, omlettes made to order and a overall buffet that includes fresh shrimp, waffles & fried chicken, salads, sweets and more! Very organized reserved seating (no elbow room on the main floor though ... if you can swing it, book 2 more seats than you need! Or, maybe... More

Went here for family dinner midweek . Plus side we got table right away, guy singing was very good though not all blues music - personally that didn't bother me but If you were use hard blues fan it might. Service started off well but as place got busier tailed off. Wait for drink and foods was fairly long .... More

The Gospel Brunch was awesome. The show was very enjoyable, but the food was much better than I anticipated. There was a wide variety- from chicken and waffles to a carving station and full buffet- great way to start your week.

This Chicago 'must see' was just on my maybe list, but I learned why it is so highly rated and am thrilled to have heard the Gospel House of Prayer - G-HOP - choir and supporting musicians. A very unique experience for me, and one that everyone leaving seemed to be uplifted by. People who weren't so friendly going in... More

The venue was surprisingly big and fairly empty when we arrived, so the atmosphere was initially disappointing. As more people arrived, the atmosphere improved and so I would recommend booking, but maybe arriving an hour into the show. Service was good, food was tasty and enormous portions.

Went to the gospel brunch with several business partners during a convention. Lots of fun, pretty good food for a large buffet and the gospel group was great. A different experience to start the week off.

Been there with expectation. bands play good but not sure they play blues. Maybe it's according to the day which band you meet. place is not that fancy. dark and gloomy. foods are passable. If you want to relax night time this place can be an option. However if you do more survey you can surely find better place than... More
