No Crowds For Lunch

Stopped here for lunch before heading to Oak Street Beach for some sun. Got there at noon, hardly anyone there at all. Casual atmosphere, service was good. We had 2 10 year olds... read more

Excellent music, atmosphere, food. We expected bar food but got great meals, all 6 of us. Vegetarian plate with portobello mushrooms was out of this world. Great service and LOADS of atmosphere here.

Went to the Sunday gospel brunch. They had a little trivia game prior to taking people up to their seating, where they gave out a could prizes. Study up before going! We were up in one of the private balcony boxes. Luckily since we had 4 in the group and there are 6 seats in the room, no one else... More

A group of my friends went to the restaurant to see comedy cocktail hour in the foundation room. After being thoroughly searched we rode up to the 4th floor and I immediately thought I was back in college at a hookah bar. The incense is strong in this room but a great part of the atmosphere. Not a ton of... More

Stopped here for lunch before heading to Oak Street Beach for some sun. Got there at noon, hardly anyone there at all. Casual atmosphere, service was good. We had 2 10 year olds with us. Nice that they had a kids menu. I had the street tacos that were very good. The walls and decor are really cool and could... More

We so enjoyed the gospel brunch. Yes it rather hectic as you enter the venue but we found the food abundant and delicious. If you don't like the alcohol beverage they offer there is a bar to purchase drinks. The music was medium but worth it. Got to try it.

Great music Brezzy Rodio an up and coming Chicago blues artist. Outstanding service. Food was plentiful and tasty. Very laid back atmosphere fits the music perfectly. Can't wait to go back.

Everything was perfect. Great food, friendly help, fast service. The music was amazing. My daughter left her debit card there. She called and left a message, 2 different people called back to let her know yes they had it.

We are in Chicago for a short anniversary trip and had stopped into the House of Blues before a river boat tour. We were able to be seated immediately and our waitress Dani was amazing, great attitude and explained that their portion sizes were a bit big. That advice was perfect as we weren't wanting a huge meal. We ordered... More

If you arrive before 9pm, there is no extra charge for the live music. The waiter is really thorough and tells you all about their special dishes. I wouldn't have known their soup (chicken crumbo) is this tasty and comforting, otherwise. There is free wifi.

Thank Toroniee T
