Millions walk past here and never know it's here. Signage is horrible and not much publicity is around, BUT, it is well worth going in, and up the stairs. Certain days are free days (check first). Several rooms of ancient artifacts, religious objects etc. Photos...More

Loved it! Entrance is free. Gallery is only small but boy I liked their exhibits. The current exhibits by Gregory Beals: They Arrived Last Night; Tonika Lewis Johnson: Everyday Englewood and the permanent displays at the third floor were great. Staff were also accommodating and...More

I saw this when walking around Chicago (the best way to see a city, I think). The exhibits are religious-themed, and well displayed. The staff appear to be volunteers, and students. Friendly folks. They were happy to keep my tote bag while I visited the...More

Took a class downtown for a art museum trip and found this place to be very well set up with displays and very informed staff. Great place to learn and appreciate art.

Stumbled on to this museum while looking up small specialty museums in Chicago. The nice bonus is that admission is free. First I review the permanent collection of religious art which is very extensive and interesting. Also the 3 temporary exhibits were eclectic and interesting...More

Visited this lovely museum to view the creche exhibit they show annually. The nativities were beautifully displayed. They were at a convenient height and spacing. The staff maintained a watchful eye to ensure the safety of their displays but did not feel as if they...More

This is a small museum of religious art, not exclusively Christian, at Loyola University, only a block off the Magnificent Mile. It's got a beautiful collection of art, and it's free to visit, which is always a plus.

First of all, I want to note that the museum is FREE through November 2017. The top floor has a wonderful collection of religious art and artifacts. It doesn't matter if you follow any particular faith, it's fascinating just to study the craftsmanship of the...More

The museum is great if you are an art lover. Otherwise I would suggest walking around the campus. It is beautiful and something to see, especially if you may have perspective college students eventually.

Located close to the Water Tower, this small museum is easy to overlook. It is not advertised and the entrance is very inconspicuous. The exhibits, located on the second and third floor are easy to take in in about an hour. The permanent collection focuses...More

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.

I believe it's $9 for general admission and $6 for Seniors. It's a very sweet museum. I hope this helps.
