Attended the musical Hamilton. Loved the production and the theater was small, but very nice. It was a great venue.

My wife and I saw "Hamilton" here in June 2019 and we were pleased with our seats in the loge and the maintenance and upkeep of the building and furnishings. The lobby is small, so it was packed and difficult to navigate preceding the show and during intermission. The theater is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, close to great hotels and restaurants.

It’s an historic theatre. No bad seats. Feels much smaller than it is. Art deco. Of course, Hamilton was excellent ( 3rd time attending: Sf, ny and now Chicago)

Visited this theater to see Hamilton - had great seats, first row of the balcony, but the leg room and seat width made the seats super uncomfortable.

Walking into the theater you are first rushed through security, but that is to be expected at a venue this old (there simply isn't the space for an ideal screening line. Then you notice how gorgeous the theatre is - and how poor the signage is in places. That said, if you just ask the staff they know the place well and are efficient and friendly. I enjoyed the show I saw here (Hamilton) - sitting in one of the Dress Circle Boxes. My obstructions were about ask expected - that said the 2 other people in my box had very sever obstructions for the same price. They literally were looking around the different sides of the speaker. All throughout the venue you can see where obstructions would be. It is a shame such a beautifully maintained theater has so many weak points for its primary use - viewing live theatre.
