I would definitely check this statue out if you are in the area- the story surrounding it is pretty neat. It happened to be a part of the Chicago Architectural tour that I signed up for.

Unique and stunning free attraction. Unusual, thought provoking and fascinating piece of art. It is free and easily accessible on plaza of Daley Center in heart of downtown Chicago. Definitely worth a visit. Just one example of the fantastic public art in Chicago.

This work is "untitled", but in the Art Museum notes there said that it is A Woman. The welding is truly impressive, huge sheets of steel juxtaposed and held upright. Sadly the Daley forecourt is now a parking lot for food trucks. To best appreciate...More

Plazas are always interesting to find when touring a city. A place to sit, watch the flow and take the pulse of the city. This plaza is transformed into something even more special by this statue and becomes something you interact with and engage in....More

It is ok to see, not anything spectacular. I lived and worked in downtown Chicago my early adult life. Nothing great about it, maybe the visitors for the 1st time would be excited.

We were lucky to have this stature close to our hotel. We walked by several times and it never got boring to look at. If your in the area, walk down Washington St to check out this stature and many other sites.

This is one of many big sculptures in Chicago that are neat to find while exploring. There are benches in the area if you want to sit and look at it for a bit or people watch.

Picasso is one of my favorite artists and so was a must see on my travels to Chicago. And it did not disappoint! Assembled in 1967, this site has historical meaning with many different events that have taken place in Daley square. The sculpture itself...More

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of
