Beautiful and historic Catholic cathedral that has a "tree of life" motif as seen in the bronze entry doors as well as the ceiling and altar inside. Although flash is prohibited, if you have a good enough CMOS sensor or higher ISO, you may be able to take decent enough pictures inside.

The Cathedral was decorated beautifully for the holidays. There is a great variety of masses to choose from each daily if you want to attend mass. You can also just go to Holy Name Cathedral to pray. or light a candle.

This cathedral is worth a visit, and one you can stumble across while shopping. Its opposite the John Hancock centre and a lovely visit

Notice the bronze doors as you enter, then loot up to see the Resurrection Cross. The stillness and the the beauty centers oneself. Note the Profit Elijah receiving sustenance from an Angel. Listen to the wonderful organ and study the galeros, bishop tasseled hats and understand there symbolism. Go outside and find where bullets hit near the Cathedral's cornerstone during... More

We attended the 6:00 mass on Christmas Eve. The church is just beautiful and comfortable. So glad I had the opportunity to attend mass at the Holy Name Cathedral.

We didn't go for a mass, but simply to see and it's quite pretty inside, though dark when not being used. Worth the visit.

Enjoyed 6pm Christmas mass, very beautiful cathedral with pipe organ. The security kicked everybody out 15 minutes after the mass was over. Kind of disappointing, so if you are planning to take some pictures or videos try coming before mass.
