On the last night of the trip we wanted something relaxing to do after dinner. We decided to take a cruise. The first hour or so you are either going through the locks or out on the lake. Our guide did a great job of...More

As a Chicago native I’ve been on an architectural river tour 4 times. The docent/actor seemed like he’s was auditioning for a voice-over part. He mixed humor with Chicago history and lore, but came up short on the information about the buildings; he only talked...More

Keeling, our guide, did an amazing job on the boat tour. Just the right level of information to keep my tweens interested (me too!) -interjecting humor to keep it light and fun.

Originally thought $35 per for a boat tour was a bit rich, but it's 90 minutes and goes up the Chicago River and out on Lake Michigan, so not a terrible deal. Tour guide Cameron was awesome. We did the 8:15 tour and Lake Michigan...More

We took this cruise in addition to the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) cruise in order to get a different angle on the city buildings. Relative to the CAF cruise, this cruise offers: 1) A more history-oriented commentary on the city & buildings cruised passed (rather...More

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and

Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier

your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
