This theater is beautiful, yet shows it's age. A must visit to see the Joffrey Ballet perform if you are in town. I've seen several performances here and this theater offers a very good experience. Be warned the entire building is old and parts of the theater are showing its' age. Some stairs to your seats may be uneven. Pay... More

Such a historic building in our city! The auditoroum theater has been around for YEARS and it's a great place to see a show and has been the home of the NFL draft for 2015 & 2016. Great way to highlight this historic building.

My wife and I went to our traditional Nutcracker show back in Dec but it was our first time in Chicago and of course going here! My seat was comfortable and the acoustics were great! Most of all though, we enjoyed the beauty of the theatre and took many photos! I can't wait to go back!

I have never seen a ballet in my life and I have to say, I really enjoyed Cinderella. My friends and I had great seats even though they were a bit to the left of the stage. We got an up close and personal view of every actor and every musician playing below. I did get a little worried when... More

The view from our balcony seats was nearly perfect. I have to say i don't think there is a bad seat in the theater. I was able to move in my seat to keep my back from aggravating more than it usually does.

Traveled to Chicago from Nashville to see David Gilmour play here. He performed 2 other shows in Chicago at the United Center but my husband and I wanted to see him here as this theatre only holds 3900. We stayed at the Hotel Blake approximately 3 blocks away. We stood in line waiting for doors to open for almost 30... More

My Father and two daughters loved the Auditorium Theatre, the staff was friendly, organized and helpful. Acoustics were amazing and David Gilmour put on a fantastic show!

This landmark theater designed by Adler and Sullivan and completed in 1889, is a spectacular venue for theater and dance. The acoustics are said to be perfect; there are no columns to interfere with sightlines. My favorite seats are in the "dress circle" because they are on risers, so I can see over the heads of those in front of... More

While in Chicago I attended The Alvin Alley Dance performance at the beautiful, spacious, ornate Auditorium Theatre. We were assigned great seats, 1st row, center aisle and of course as always an awesome performance by the Alvin Ailey Dancers.
