Rachel was our hostess. She did a wonderful job of explaining when and how each building came to be. We had a wonderful afternoon on the tour and it was November. It was a great way to see the City.

We took the Architecture Tour, which was a great way to see the city's towering skyscrapers along the Chicago River. Tour guide was informative, but she did seem a bit bored at times and wasn't as enthusiastic as guides on other similar tours I've taken. Be warned that the boat does not have much shelter from the sun or rain.

Well, what can we say but this was the highlight of our visit to Chicago. We booked it last minute the day before our trip and boy was it worth it. We were lucky enough to have Rachel as our tour guide and boy we lucked out! The 75 minute architecture tour is an absolute delightful way to get round... More

My wife and I did the Architecture Criuse again, and enjoyed even more than the first time we did it a couple years ago. It's a 75 minute cruise of the Chicago River starting at Michigan Ave, and covers a bit of the north branch, and then much of the south branch. The speaker was very knowlegable about architecture, the... More

Took the Shoreline architectural boat tour in November 2016, we really enjoyed it, it is very interesting to learn about how the city grew from a small trading settlement into the fantastic city Chicago is now. The guide Ben was very informative about the different buildings and their architects, how the rivers combined to make the city quiet unique and... More

I have been on the Chicago's First Lady several times and always had a pleasant experience. My husband and I choose last minute to take the Shoreline and had a great experience. Our tour guide William was knowledgeable, funny, relatable and engaging. I would highly suggest this company if you want to go on a architectural tour. One drawback on... More

The tour was great. Victor (the tour guide) gave such an amazing tour. Highly recommended you learn a lot and see a lot of the eyes of others that you prob won't notice. I would recommend doing it in the summer or spring time. Of course it's cold in the winter but the boat doesn't have any type of heaters.... More

We have done two tours with them, the architectural and the one that goes into Lake Michigan through the locks of the Chicago River. Both great, instructive and entertaining. Very educational to understand the city and its history. If you visit Chicago I would recommend doing these tours fist, since you will most likely have a better appreciation for what... More

This year we decided to do an Architecture tour and there are many to choose from. So glad we picked Shoreline with Ben as our guide. Our group consisted of 3 adults and a ten year old and we were all happy with our pick.
