We weren't gettibng a train anywhere just wanted to visit the station as we had seen it many times in the Untouchables. Its worth it just to see the stairs and benches, a nice place to spend a n hour and a good food hall.

Riding the Amtrak in from Wisconsin made for an easy visit to the city. The station is near major attractions and there are shops, restaurants inside the station. Easily grab a cab out front. $6.50 to the Magnificent Mile, or $22 to museum of science...More

I was taking a bus, rather than a train, but the staff members I asked for help were all friendly, and it's nice to have clean bathrooms to use before a long journey.
