Would highly recommend this activity for Families, all ages! We took the tour with our 2 kids, ages 15 & 11, and they both really enjoyed. Our tour guide was John, and he was engaging, funny, and did an excellent job guiding the tour. You could tell that he really knew his subject and gave us lots of factual info, as well as related stories or let us know the "theories" surrounding some of the events/people. He gave plenty of opportunity for people to ask questions and made sure to involve all the guests in the tour. They did a good job with COVID as well, bus was sanitized before we boarded and people sat every other row. John was dilligent about making sure everyone wore their masks at all times. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages!

We were in Chicago visiting my son and his girlfriend and they had been wanting to take this tour, however when Covid hit the tours were on hold so we checked while we were in town in September and they were doing limited tours with social distancing and safe practices, so we decided to book. We did the 4 p.m. tour time on a Saturday as we didn't want to go in the dark we wanted to see the points the guide was pointing out and talking about. Our tour guide was a young blonde girl named Elise, she was super bubbly and you could tell she knew her facts and enjoyed her job. She was very informative and let us ask questions when ever we wanted. She did an excellent job of keeping us intrigued and interested in what she was presenting and she changed her voice and presentation with certain spooky or weird things which made it fun. Her personality helped too, when you have a guide who is so bubbly it's infectious. The tour is $45 for and adult ticket and it lasts a little under 2 hours from start to finish, you get off the bus 3 times to see things and to stretch. The bus is set up where every other row of seats is blocked off, and you have to keep your mask on the entire time which wasn't bad as the bus had air circulating. If you are into learning things about the city and the crime ring that was part of Chicago's history and it's bad guys then this is the tour for you. Just remember to tip your tour guide they work hard and were out of work for a few months, it's important to pump the money back into the city's economy, and to help out those who are just going back to work. ENJOY !!!!

WARNING DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!! The tour guide was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was not allowed to ask questions. I was made fun of and the content was boring. Me and my friends hopped off the tour mid way. I rather watch paint dry then take this tour again!!! There are good fours out there this one just isn’t one of them!!!!!
