Here is an excerpt from a letter I had sent after my experience. Please be aware of what you are buying BEFORE you go: As I was researching rooftops, I was aware that The Skybox on Sheffield did not have the views of the infield as stated on their website but didn’t realize there really was NO VIEW of the... You can have a good time here but not watching the game. View blocked so you have to watch TV and then the 3sec delay ruins it. I could see the K on the scoreboard before the pitch. Or crowd cheer and then know to watch TV. Food is average, beers were decent. nicer than watching the game at a... More

from past images, at one time, this was great place to see a game--Forget it ! --- I feel bad for the owners, but worse for anyone dropping ($100 per seat)-- to not see a game.... yes..NOT SEE -- there is no view..period. End of story....

What a great time in the Skybox on Sheffield! A good view of the stadium slightly obstructed by the score board but that was fine because we were at Wrigley. Plenty of tv's inside with cool air conditioning and complimentary food & drinks. Cold Goose Island on tap is always a winner in my book!!!

This is such a ripoff, it used to be nice but you cannot see the game at all due to the new jumbotron. Get a rooftop further north on Sheffield or Waveland.

When my friends and I booked tickets for this rooftop bar, we read that the view was 50% obstructed. Sure, 50% of the entire stadium is obstructed, but 90% of the actually FIELD is obstructed. You could see a ball or a player of something happened in the far right side of the outfield and that was it. The food... More

Purchased two tickets through Living Social. No view of infield. Unlimited food and drink is a joke. Hot pretzels were gone in the third inning. The guy who worked there said, gee, we brought 120 of them. Also in the 3rd inning, only one type of crepe was available. The line for burgers and other hot food was a double... More

We were sucked in by a misleading "Living Social" offer which we received in August. "New Dates Added, All-Inclusive Rooftop Ticket to Cubs Game". This just added offer makes it sound as if you must move quickly or risk losing out. The offer stated, " Skybox on Sheffield offers a one-of-a-kind vantage point perfect for fans that prefer a slightly... More

We went to cubs game at the Skybox a couple of years ago and it was a great experience so we decided to go again Memorial Day. It is just not the same. The good folks at Wrigley Field have erected a humongous scoreboard directly in front of the Skybox. There is no longer a view from the third and... More

You CAN NOT see the game from the top two outdoor levels of this venu. I think there may be a partial view from the interior first floor of the venu, through the windows. DO NOT buy tickets at this location if you have any intention of actually watching the game. It seems Wrigley Field erected a huge billboard between... More

Staying in Wrigleyville

Neighborhood Profile
This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
