I came here after going to the Swedish American museum. It was simply awesome. It has a very cool historical feel to it. The bartender was so friendly. Simon's has been around since 1934 in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood, a former Swedish enclave -- the neon sign outside the tavern is a fish holding a martini -- "pickled herring" (get it?)
