A group of us went to the spirit of Chicago for the dinner cruise.bwe all had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful so you could get out and see the Chicago skyline lit up. The staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had fun. Great food and drinks. The only complaint we had was the walk... More

We took our daughter on her birthday out on their lunch cruise. Our waitress, Mekita, was personable, wonderful and attentive. The food was very good and the outside lounge area was a nice place to sit and take in the gorgeous views of Chicago. It was the perfect two hour trip spent on the water.

Fish, chicken, pork, beef ribs, salad, all kinds of side dishes, it was really good. I would not categorize this ship as romantic, but I would... More

My family booked the fireworks cruise on July 4th. We thought this would be a good way to see the fireworks and not have to fight the crowds. We were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly and fun. They made every effort to see that the guests had an enjoyable cruise right down to offering everyone cookies and bomb pops... More

We were in Chicago for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I planned to have at least one really nice dinner to celebrate the occasion. I had ordered their romantic package: rose petals on table, champagne and 1/2 dozen short stemmed roses. Good thing I did! My husband was a bit disappointed, they did nothing special beyond that! The food was alright.... More

We booked a 2 hour brunch cruise during the weekend of 4th of July. It was great. It is an all you can eat buffet and you take a Lake Michigan harbor cruise going north so you get great views of the Chicago skylline. This yacht has many decks, the buffet was on decks 1,2 & 3 so we had... More

I reserved a 7:30 dinner cruise with the open bar add on for my significant other and myself and it was better than anything we could imagine! As soon as we boarded the ship we were shown to our seats and was greeted with champagne. Dinner starts when the ship leaves the dock which was about 8pm. It was buffet... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
