I did the Pilsen tour last year and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable! When I was looking for something fun to do in January to celebrate a friend’s birthday, I thought of Walk Chicago. It’s been challenging to find things to do during the Covid shutdown, but Terry created a special downtown Art tour for us making sure to hit the highlights and practicing the right level of safety. It was a memorable time filled with lots of fun facts. I’d recommend Walk Chicago for anyone who wants a quality tour experience in a small group. They’re the best!

I am most grateful for your generous words. truly, it was my pleasure to show you public art in the Loop...an easy task given that the Loop is a virtual outdoor art museum. And even easier when tourists like you contribute enthusiasm and sincere interest. It was like being with close friends. Please come back,,,again ! Terry S.

I found Walk Chicago Tours on line while looking for a tour for my students. Terry was absolutely wonderful to work with while planning my field trip. He helped me plan the tour, find bus parking and find a great place for my class to eat. Before even leaving our school, Terry had reached out to me to let me know about the traffic and weather forecast! He went above and beyond to make sure we were well prepared.
The day of the tour was magnificent. Both Terry and Jim did a great job working with my students, explaining the culture of Pilsen Village, showing them beautiful art, and even getting us in to see a beautiful church. They not only took us on a great tour but they also walked us to our restaurant and made sure we were taken care of before ending the tour.
If you are a teacher looking for a wonderful tour and tour guides that work well with students while being more than affordable, please reach out to Walk Chicago Tours.

Jennifer you for your kindness, The West Boone HS tour group rates very high with us. They were an excellent audience. We have had scores of schools as our guests, and we can see that you have done well. Please do come back. We are looking forward to it. Terry Sullivan

Terry Sullivan provided our family with a “one of a kind” experience of seeing various neighborhoods in the Gold Coast area of Chicago. He explained the history of the people who originally lived there and the role they played in Chicago’s history.

Terry has great way of sharing his vast understanding of the history of Chicago in a very interesting way to those visiting this great city.

If you want to see a beautiful neighborhood and learn about the people who built these homes after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 in the Gold Coast area of the city - this is your tour company.

We plan to take another tour provided by them when we return to Chicago in the future.

Thank you Terry Sullivan for giving us a memorable experience!!!

My husband and I had the good fortune to go on the Chinatown tour with Judith Dunbar Hines. We were the only people on the tour, and Judith personalized the tour for us. She contacted us in advance to learn what our interests were. We learned many interesting facts about the Chinatown community of Chicago, and sampled some delicious food. Judith knows the good places to eat! She also has a varied background in food and has had numerous culinary and teaching positions for the city of Chicago and elsewhere. She is very engaging and entertaining, and I highly recommend a tour with her while in Chicago.

We just completed our annual walking tour with a group of 24 high school juniors from a neighboring state. We absolutely recommend Walk Chicago Tours and Terry Sullivan and his guides. As former educators, these guides understand the unique challenges of a teenage audience!

Walk Chicago Tours is interested in having our group of rural teens feel welcome in this magnificent city. They have worked to tailor make a tour that helps our students appreciate the enormous responsibility a city has to its people. They literally take us underground to see the infrastructure of the city as well as taking us to the dazzling architectural treasures that the city constructed 150 years ago.

Our tour is an excellent first stop in our short, jam-packed visit to Chicago. Each year our students leave with a little bit of a crush on the city.

We did a tour of the Pilsen neighborhood and it could not have been more fun or delicious! Our guide Judith was amazing, it was just the right touch of history and learning coupled with some amazing eats! The restaurants and cafes we stopped it all knew her well. We were able to tour the kitchen and learn all about the history of each restaurant - right from the chefs themselves. Would highly reccomend this to anyone looking to get an up-close and personal look at one of best kept secrets in the city!

Judith was a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide. We really enjoyed our tour of the Pilsen neighborhood, especially the murals and the Panaderia Nuevo Leon. Lunch at 5 Rabanitos was a real taste treat. We'd gladly book another tour with Judith when we return next year.

My parents and I did a tour of architecture and public art in the Loop with Allen, and we really enjoyed it! I use a wheelchair to get around, and the tour was fully accessible. I live in the suburbs and have been downtown many times with family, but we never paid close attention to many of the things Allen talked about. We would highly recommend this tour!

Jim was a fabulous walking guide for our private guided Graceland Cemetery Tour! Graceland Cemetery preserves the Who's Who of Chicago history. Jim shared so much of the history of the lives of forefathers such as George Pullman, Marshall Field, Bertha and Potter Palmer, and so many more! To see the stunning estate memorials in a park-like, tree-lined cemetery on a beautiful fall day is truly a great day in Chicago!

Our visit to Chinatown was perfect for my Asian Culture loving kid (and his sister). Judith was a great tour guide and very patient with my two kids (10 and 7). She found us a great ramen/dumpling/Taylor Swift music playing restaurant that was perfect for all of us! Highly recommend! 🇨🇳
