My wife and I started to go on food tours in various cities a few years ago and we have had a blast with it! Johnson was an exceptional tour guide this past weekend and is very energetic! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Chicago! Great way to learn about some of the lesser known historical pieces of Chicago... More

Three of us went on the Chicago Old Town version of the tastebud tours with our guide for the day, Johnson. As we went in October and it wasn't peak season we got our very own private tour, Johnson was so well informed about the old town of Chicago you could just picture the scenes he described! By the end... More

We enjoyed this food tour around Chicago, but it may not be for everybody. The tour we took was called the Chicago Style Food Tour. The guide, Keith, had high energy and good knowledge of Chicago. He and the other people in our group made the tour a lot of fun. If you are interested in learning about Chicago and... More

This food tour was probably the reason why we LOVED our first trip to Chicago so much. Our guide was Rebecca and our group was wonderful... not too big so we could actually get to know the other people a bit. After a while it was like we were eating with old friends :). We agreed afterwards that there was... More

Had a great time visiting local Chicago establishments. Started out with pizza, then cupcakes, Chicago dog, Billy Goats Tavern, and ended at Fannie Mayes. Annalynn was a fun tour guide. She was right that Billy Goats Tavern didn't have the best burger, but is a must visit while in Chicago. Glad we went. Great deal for the money. The artisan... More

This was the second time we have started our vacation in an unfamiliar city with a food tour. Taste of Chicago did not disappoint us! Our tour guide, Anna Lynn, took us to some great places to eat traditional Chicago style food. Pizza, chocolate, brats, beefsteak, brownies and more! She also took us in to some non-food points of interest,... More

This tour...taste of Chicago...was a blast. We took the tour on a sunny Saturday. Our guide, Johnson, was great...personable and well informed. In addition to tasty food samples the history lessons were great...who knew that brownies were invented in Chicago ? Pizza, Italian beef, Fannie Mae candies, brownies, cupcakes and bratwurst.....a great eclectic lunch that truly introduces you to Chicago... More
