Wonderful Spa!

Great spa experience! Lovely massage and reflexology. Negative-Pool and hot tub are shared with hotel guests and not private for spa guests.

I live in Chicago and visit this spa when I want to splurge on a day of relaxation and pampering. It is definitely expensive but I think it's worth every penny if you take advantage of all the amenities. I try to plan my day ahead of time and space out two services with a trip to the luxurious pool,... More

This spa has it down from the flow the minute you arrive to helping you on with your jacket and bidding a warm goodbye. Stunning pool area with windows floor to ceiling, great hot tub, perfect loungers with monogrammed towels, newspapers, beverages....the list goes on. The relaxation rooms were like cocoons where you could surely fall to sleep . My... More

Erika's a wonder. She knows nails, so even in a cold spell, my cuticles stay in tact. Erika also knows how to tell a story. What a bonus.

The Spa area is located on the 20th floor. Perfectly lovely deep tissue massage. Men's locker room has a great eucalyptus steam room and spacious individual showers. No sauna or jacuzzi.

My husband arranged a massage for me at The Pennisula Spa. I receive massages monthly but always look forward to a nice relaxing spa experience. I must first say, The therapist was professional and overall the treatment itself was very good. However, if you are looking for a true "spa experience" this is not the place! The layout is so... Peninsula Spa is at the top. The best of the Town with Nice massages and wonderful pull. The building is outstanding even better than in Paris or Hong Kong.

i had the most relaxing massage with a very friendly masseuse. She started washing my feet. While doing so, she chose me all the different aromas she had for the oils she could use for my relaxing mint massage. The mint was fresh, collected that day from her garden, she said. She exfolieted my body and then gave me a... More

The spa is very nice, clean, and inviting. Before we went for our services, we used the steam room. We loved it. The steam was just perfect and the smell of some kind of oil was very pleasant. Outside of the steam room, they had towels in the bucket with ice and cucumbers for you to use after the hot... More

While staying in Peninsula Hotel to explore Chicago during the coldest time of the year, the spa of the hotel was warm and excellent relaxing place. Especially, I had oil massage a few times... Each of these massages I had was amazing...:)

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
