You name it this 7story mall has it, great location from downtown, visitors from all ages would enjoy it, from a lego store, to book stores, Macys, Adidas stores etc. restaurants and public restroom. Great time to kill some time if you have reservation near by restaurant.

Yes, it's a mall. Lots of eateries, some shops, and out of the way public restrooms. However, if you like malls, THIS is the place to be! Even the parking garage is warm enough to not leave your coat on. It's a great place to spend a cold wintry afternoon.

Located next to the Hilton where we stayed in February, much warmer than expected temperatures sent everyone shopping for spring clothes. The mall has a wide variety of shops and levels. Most of the shops are of the typical mall fare you would find anywhere but in this case, the stores are vertically stacked which makes for much less walking

On a very cold and windy day in Chicago this is a fine place to shop. It is uncrowded and clean with the convenience of a variety of shops and Macy's full department store.

I knew it was a mall...stepped inside, rode the escalators up a few flights. Very few customers walking about. It was kind of cool, but I would not make a special trip just to see it.

This is a must-stop every time I come to Chicago. It is seven floors and each floor has about a half a dozen shops. There is a also a small food court on the bottom level. I also head up to floor 7 for Garrett's popcorn!

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
