Must have ride

I had this ride during the sunset from Shedd aquarium to navy pier. It was very amazing view from the water taxi of the city.

We have used the water taxi many times to get from the train station to the Mag Mile. Such a relaxing way to travel, and economical, too. Unless you have really heavy luggage, highly recommended!

Skip all the traffic and just zip right across the lakefront. A wonderful way to see the city get a little boat trip in and zoom from Navy Pier to the Museum Campus. Be aware it does get quite a bit cooler when you are out on the lake so make sure to bring a jacket even if it feels... More

We live in the city and frequently take the water taxi from Chinatown to Michigan avenue. It's a fun way to see the city, enjoy the summer, and avoid the traffic. I'd recommend this for visitors as a good way to see the buildings along the river and get to one of 3-4 destinations in a different way. Taxis run... More

Lovely ride viewing the city and its architecture. Historical buildings that gave the City of Broad Shoulders it's rep. Studs Terkel would have approved.

The water taxis are ever so much fun! The boats are small, comfortable, and affordable. The possible destinations include, but are not limited to Navy Pier, Chinatown, Michigan Avenue, Union Station, and restaurants along the route. The amazing Chicago architecture is apparent as one rides along. It's a not to be missed activity!

Had the opportunity to take the water taxi a couple of weeks ago. Great way to get around and much better than a smelly cab.

The water taxi runs between the stadium area and Navy Pier and a another route follows the Chicago River. It was easy to take the water taxi down the river all the way to the train station. It not as economical as the bus, but cheaper than the street taxi. Plus you get a different view of the skyline. There... More
