Yes you can eat during the show. We had our dinner around 7pm, that time there was not many people, but it quickly filled up. You’ll need to pay $10 for the entry and you can stay 2h, if the evening is quiet they’ll let you... More

Andy's Jazz Club / Updates? Questions - (2 Replies)
We're planning our late September Trip to Chicago. Our first night in town is a Thursday and we're hoping to visit the Art Institute from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. We'll either take a taxi or public trans back to the Streeterville area and find a place not too far from our hotel to have a drink & a bite, relax and listen to some music. It sounds like Andy's Jazz Club will be perfect for us. I just read all the "Yelp" reviews and got several impressions. There were comments/complaints...More

Beginning January 1st of this year, Illinois became a smoke-free state. All public buildings, restaurants, stadiums, etc., do not allow smoking inside or within 15 feet of their entrances. Now you can enjoy the great Jazz at Andy's without any second hand smoke. Enjoy your trip to Chicago.

Hotels near Andy's Jazz Club? (4 Replies)
We need a hotel in Chicago near Andy's Jazz Club (staying nights of March 31 and April 1). Would prefer a 4*; pricing is a concern, but location and comfort are more important. Thanks!

The club is on State and Hubbard, which is right across from the Courtyard Marriott. While not a 4*, it's a very nice hotel. However, 4*'s also right near there include the Amalfi and Westin River North. A little further South would be the Renaissance Marriott. The Intercontinental would also be not too far, nor would the Monaco. Any of these would definitely be a good choice, but in terms of 4*, nearest to the club and comfort, either the Amalfi or Westin RN would be the top 2 to choose...More
