Standard restaurants and shops aimed at tourists. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but just know that's what you're in for. The best part is walking along the pier on a sunny day -- great views of the city and lake. All-in-all a fun afternoon...More

Beautiful walk to the end of the pier. There are shops, restaurants and the giant ferris wheel. Lake sightseeing cruises also leave from here.

The pier is nothing too amazing. It's a good place to go on building tours and maybe on the Ferris wheel and that's about it. Or if you have kids they have a children museum there. Nevertheless, it's still a famous attraction in Chicago.

You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the

captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

I'd ring to check, but as far as I could see you could walk up there any time to look out over the lake. It would be nice at dawn. I was there for sunset and it was lovely. The restaurants and concessions are nothing special... More
