LOVE the air-conditioned cars on the newly renovated ferris wheel on the pier. As always, the pier was congested but there are a lot of things to do allowing for shorter lines and variety. As Chicago natives, this was not our first time to the...More

We took some time to explore while we waited for our boat tour (several depart right from Navy Pier). There are amusement rides (not our style, but fun if you're into that sort of thing), shopping, restaurants, indoor botanic gardens, a children's museum, and exhibits....More

Glad I was able to spend time at the Navy Pier. We chose to get on the ferries wheel which offered and amazing view of the city. They have an indoor garden/greenhouse. Lots of dining options in house.

It's a quite busy place. Very touristy! Not much to do in my eyes and very expensive. There are much better things to do in this awesome city!

Great place to visit with family. Beautiful view of the city and lots to do. Probably best to go at night just to enjoy the city at night.

During the summer there are fireworks Wednesday and Saturday nights around 1015pm. We had a great dinner at Riva Crabhouse and it was great. I highly recommend planning a night of dinner and fireworks if your visiting the pier.

We hadn't been in a couple of years and were impressed with the additions and upgrades. So many dining options, attractions, an exhibit hall. We went on a Saturday night and enjoyed a free concert before fireworks.

You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

I'd ring to check, but as far as I could see you could walk up there any time to look out over the lake. It would be nice at dawn. I was there for sunset and it was lovely. The restaurants and concessions are nothing special... More
