We took the private architecture tour of Chicago Private Tours and Productions on 11/22/19. Stevie did not disappoint. His depth of knowledge and storytelling ability made us feel like Al Capone himself was in the Empire room with us. We learned about the history and saw the interiors of the most amazing buildings while being driven to the curb by chauffeur Carmela. Learned about the history of skyscrapers, Union Stock Yard, the World’s Fair in 1893 and it was so interesting that I bought “The Devil and the White City” for the plane ride home. Stevie even added a quick stop at Harry Carey’s so we could see the secret underground tunnel to the courthouse - used at a time when corruption reigned in the city. This tour was my favorite part of the weekend in Chicago and I highly recommend.

Love, loved the architecture tour...I've been on two last year! The first one I scheduled because I thought it might be a fun way to some of the city off our feet, it was so much more than I expected. The tour guides are amazing, it's so informative and interesting...we loved it enough to go twice.

What a great tour!!! The guide was fantastic. My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. Do yourself a favor and check this out.

The private tour was the way to go! Our guide knew the city inside and out and catered the tour to exactly what we wanted to do.

Great private tour! The guide was a local from Chicago and knows the history of this city inside and out. We could ask the guide any questions without 20 other people shrugging. He even went off the normal route to take us to some landmarks we wanted to see.

Private tours can be hit or miss for the price tag, but this one was incredible. They’ve been in business for many years and are well connected in the city with knowledgeable guides.

This architecture tour was impressive! Hearing the stories behind landmarks like the Willis Tower, Tribune Tower, and the Wrigley Building made me appreciate them even more. The guide explained everything in a way that was easy to follow, even if you’re not an architecture buff. My wife and I both enjoyed it, definitely worth the time. If you’re in Chicago, this tour is a must-do to really understand the city

We went on the haunted history tour, and it was pretty darn cool. Really gave me the chills (although I do scare easy!). I liked how guide mixed in real history with the ghost tales—more weight that way. My wife loved it, and even the kids got a kick out of it. If you’re looking for something different to do, this is it. I’d definitely do it again!

I took the Al Capone Gangster Tour in Chicago with my wife and kids, and it was a blast! I’ve always loved old gangster movies, so seeing the real places where Capone and his crew hung out was awesome. My kids even stayed interested the whole time, which is a miracle, lol. If you’re in Chicago, you’ve got to check this out. It’s worth every penny!

Loved this tour! Ngl, I was biased towards the other big cities I knew: NYC, LA. Chicago has them beat - nowhere else has the simultaneous diversity and local charm like the Windy City. Would never have been able to reach that without this wonderful tour.
