Great park surrounded by trees, good place to hang out and relax. It is also gives you a great view to the city skyline.

Nice park but it also is the name of the neighborhood next to it. The park is huge and runs east to Michigan Lake and its full of green, trees, a Zoo, lakes and boats. Its lovely during the summer.

Lovely oasis type park. Beach and lake one side, large park other - with lots of different things to do/visit - from the brilliant Chicago Museum in the south to the Zoo further north. There is a farmers/organic market here Sat mornings.

The Lincoln Park zoo has done an excellent job of retro-fitting older zoo enclosures to meet modern standards (and appear to be renovating more), but the majority of the large animals seem to be in very small areas compared to newer zoos. Having said that,...More

I'm sure there is more behind the park, but we just cruised through on a bike tour and it wasn't all that neat. We did the picture with Abe and rubbed his foot for good luck and were on to our next thing.

My wife and I did not use parking and didn't notice if there was parking or not. We used the transit bus from our hotel the hotel was downtown.
