This escape room had the potential to be awesome, unfortunately for us, we went on Dec 27th and there was only one person working! He was running three rooms while resetting other rooms to get them ready for the next guest. Our room (AI Rebellion) had a lot of technology, which would make it more fun, except one of the tablets was broken which lead to a big portion of the game out. Also the flashlight needed was out of batteries and didn’t work. The host was nice but completely overwhelmed. Total waste of money!!! He ended up just giving us all the answers to keep going. Waste of an hour and I would never recommended this place due to this bad experience. …

A while ago me and a friend went to brain drain. With this being my 2nd experience at a escape room I was excited to see what brain drain Chicago had to offer. During the experience we meet Ashley she was very upbeat and nice. she made the experience very enjoyable and was very helpful. I will definitely come back solely because of the quality service we received from Ashley. The box puzzle had me stopped for a while however Due to brain drains hint policy we were able to escape the room. Unlike previous escape rooms I have done, Portal was way more challenging but still fun. I definitely will be back and I look forward to do they other rooms offered.…

Being a huge fan of escape rooms, a couple of friends and I decided to visit Brain Drain in downtown Chicago. We booked the "A.I." room, which although fun, was very challenging. Thank goodness for our game master Ashley (who also turned out to be the manager) helping us out with clues! She was super helpful and accommodating and explained the game and clues well without giving anything away. We had a really great time! I told Ashley that she has regulars now and that we will be returning soon!…

I’ve done around 30 or so escape rooms and this one wasn’t what I hoped for. My two cousins and I did the AI room and the game person wasn’t helpful when it came to understanding the room. He talked about the malfunctions of another room more than the room we came to do. When we got in the room, two of the puzzle doors were already open, so he had to tell us that it wasn’t suppose to be over the speaker. It was just an awkward experience that I would have rather not had since I generally love escape rooms. Our person got switched to the manager Ashley in the middle of the game, and she was more helpful and had more energy than Andrew (learned his name from Ashley, he never told us) but I was already jaded by my experience with the first game person. The room was great but the service not so much.…
