We've ridden Segways before and always had a good time. Jake was our guide this time. He was very thorough in the training and gave us plenty of time to practice. He was patient with newbies, pointed out the narrow places, the big bumps and curbs. We stopped several times and he explained the Chicago highlights that we were passing.... More

What a top notch place. Our guide Martin was awesome. He wad very helpful and informative. He gave us history along the way. This was my first time to ride a segway, but it will not be my last. The places we toured were sights I have never seen. I would highly recommend this establishment for Segway tours!

We had a fab time with Matt this weekend. He was excellent fun and really well informed on local history! We did the 3 hr tour which covered grant park, soldier field, the aquarium, planetarium (best views of the Chicago skyline!) millennium park and a whole host of other places. We were really touched by the cancer survivors wall and... More

Their are several Segway Tours in Chicago. After my visit to trip advisor, we went with the reviews and picked City Segway. It lived up to the great reviews. We showed up for our 10am tour early as suggested. We had booked on line and the check in took no time at all. While it was just the wife and... More

It was our first time to try the Segway. It wasn't hard at all as it seems when you haven't tried it. Once you have, you would wanna go on it again ! Our tour went through Grant Park, Millenium Park, Soldier Field, the Planetarium and Aquarium. It was a great way to tour the city without having to walk... More

Our group of 3 kids (12, 13 and 15) and 4 adults had a blast. There were a few that had trepidations, but once we got going, they had a blast! Tammy, our outgoing guide, gave us the backstories of Chicago in an interesting, and sometime humorous fashion. She kept us safe and helped us create an exciting family memory!

Our guide, David, did a super job keeping us safe and giving us information about the city and some of its history. This was a great way to get to see some of the Chicago sites up close. This tour was focused on the southern side of downtown - the parks and the museum campus. I would recommend a Segway... More

The family had a great time touring around the parks of Chicago on the Segways. The staff (Greta) was tremendous. Segways are a ton of fun. They allow kids over the age of 12 to ride them which is tremendous. My 14 year old had a super time and handled the Segway the best out of the group! I suggest... More

Wow! This was a blast and I would do it again in a heart beat! I grew up in Chicago and this tour really helped me remember how beautiful the city was! We saw so much within the 3 hours. Our tour guide JAKE was the bomb.com. He was funny and helpful. The defeats themselves were so much fun and... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
