You will be ignored by the Gucci-moms and charmed by the "homeless" beggars. No unique stores can afford to be on this block just as blue chip chains can't afford to not be. You're better off walking along the river or the lake with your...More

It's a beautiful street. We found a lot of shopping and were amazed with the Burberry building. The combination between modern and ancient buildings is enchanting.

Loved the "mile!" I had been there before but was so glad to return with my daughter. We shopped until we dropped. Anyone would enjoy the shopping even if you didn't buy.

The Magnificent Mile is a must see in the heart of Chicago. There are all types of lovely stores which appeal to different people from candy stores, department stores and kids' favorites. My kids love walking down Michigan Avenue and jumping in and out stores.

This is a nice walk with a combination of luxury and mid-range shopping options. Since it was spring, the streets were lined with colorful tulips. Early evening didn't seem too crowded either.

If you want to experience a busy store lined street, walk the Magnificent Mile. Lots of stores, lots of people, lots of traffic. Big city vibe.

The Magnificent Mile to me is a must see if you are someone who loves shopping when you visit a city. For me this isn't a particular interest so I was a plus one who enjoyed the coffee ☕️ I don't consider it a destination...More

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
