A great way to see some of the highlights of Chicago

Chicago was the first stop on our US tour of the West Coast. We used to live here many years ago and so fancied breaking up our journey with a few days here. Our Segway tour was a bit of fun for the day and also to banish jet lag and see a bit more of the lake front. Our... More

After getting a verbal quote our party of 4 rented a 4 seat bicycle. We filled out some paperwork and away we went. Our lake shore ride was lovely but the fees & taxes we were presented with upon our return were not. First they added a per-person service fee, then second attempted to charge us tax (9%) but not... When I discovered that my relatively new boyfriend had scheduled this surprise activity for us on a getaway in November, I was terrified. But the whole experience was wonderful. They did a fantastic job giving us time to feel comfortable on the segways and the tour of downtown Chicago at Christmas was beautiful and the guide was extremely entertaining. We'll... More

We did the Glide @ Night tour and overall, we were pleased with the training session, safety concerns and tour itself. The only concern was that it took 45 minutes to leave the headquarters so that we came back it was past 11 p.m. vs.10:30 stated on the website. That was a problem for us because we prepaid our parking... More

We wound up on a ladies' night tour with Brittany, an enthusiastic and supportive guide who took us past beautiful colored-light fountains, historic landmarks, and past the Aquarium and Fields museum. This was our third Segueway Tour and probably the safest -- although she did take us off "Turtle Mode" once she was confident we could all ride. This was... More

We had such a memorable and awesome experience! Our guide, Richie, was so knowledgeable about Chicago's history and landmarks. He was also extremely professional yet down to earth. We will definitely be turning to Chicago Segway for our future Segway escapades.

This was a great way to see the city and fun for everybody! Our tour guide even took us extra places because we had extra time. Also, if you get Alex, he is AWESOME. Also, Alex is swell.

Pros: 1. They call to confirm the location and were clear about the pricing. The amount is different for cash and card payments. 2. They looked out for us the whole time and made sure we were safe. Also stopped for a break for stretching/snacks etc. 3. The Segway itself is a super fun way to zoom past the Navy... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
