This is a great natural history museum with lots of great displays. We spent a few hours here and were not able to see everything. The 3-d movies are not worth it though.

I was quite excited to visit the field museum, but it was surely a letter down. The majority of the museum is filled with taxidermy, and as I'm not a fan of seeing dead animals I did not enjoy this museum at all

We got there with only a couple of hours to see the museum. Luckily the woman at the counter explained it takes 4-5 hours to get through the whole thing, and that we shouldn't spring for the most expensive ticket. The man at the counter...More

Our mistake was that we didn't know the museum closed at 6. This seems rather early. So we only had about an hour and a half to walk around and I wish we had allowed at least 3 hours. Huge, beautiful building and wonderful exhibits....More

Yes, you can literally spend the day at the Field Museum. It's a smaller version of the Metropolitan Museum in NYC. Certainly not as big as the Met but worth a visit. We were fortunate enough to catch the traveling exhibit of Terracotta Warriors, which...More

I love this place. I have been going since I was a kid. There has been many changes over the years. I have always had an odd love for the taxidermy displays. For some reason I just like that hall the best. You can see...More

We enjoyed The Field Museum! The museum offers three floors of exhibits to see. I would recommend going to the museum. My children were engaged throughout the museum.

We totally enjoyed the special exhibit with the warriors from China! We try to go to this museum whenever we visit Chicago. The special exhibits keep this museum fresh along with the staple exhibits. What a great place to learn all sorts of fun facts!
