I'm a born and raised Chicagoan, but I went to Buddy Guys for the first time this year. I had no idea they were really playing the blues. My Dad grew up in the deep South and "The Blues" is a way of life!! I grew up hearing the Blues and it was soothing to my soul to actually hear... More

My daughters and I wanted to listen to some good Blues and we were told to check out Buddy Guy's Legends. We were not disappointed! Best to get there between 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. to get a table, because by 9:00 p.m., it's pretty much standing room only. That is a great indicator as to how popular this Blues club... More

Saw Buddy Guy in concert last night in Boise, ID. I don't know why musicians think that we pay money to hear them talk. We pay money to hear them perform music. Don't waste your money to hear Buddy Guy. He never completed a single song, but stopped in the middle to talk. He also tried to do guitar tricks,... More

We read the reviews about this being better with cash so came prepared and had a fabulous night. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was real southern and tasty though the pecan pie could have had more pecans. Probably the only thing I thought was lacking on the night. The main attraction is the music and it didn't disappoint... More

Food was pretty average but was well priced so didn't feel ripped off like we did in House of Blues . Service friendly and efficient , overall great... More

We stopped here before a show this summer while in Chicago. The food was excellent (I had the catfish) and Buddy's signature beer is a crisp tasty drink. The walls are full of guitars and photos of "legends" as you would hope. Overall a fun time, service was slightly inattentive but nothing worth getting into. Will for sure go back... More

Hello, If you are in the Windy City and would like to feel it more, don't hesitate to hit the way and have something to eat or drink while listening to the blues performed by excellent guys. The food is great, and the staff was nice. Cheers Bader
