Hello, If you are in the Windy City and would like to feel it more, don't hesitate to hit the way and have something to eat or drink while listening to the blues performed by excellent guys. The food is great, and the staff was nice. Cheers Bader

Attended as part of a business conference so I really can't speak to the food because it was served buffet style. They have a band so the place is loud don't be expecting a quiet dinner but that is the point of being in Buddy Guys Blues restaurant.

The place is right downtown, we took a cab from the W Hotel. $6.00 dollars. The cover charge was $20.000 and well worth it. There were three blues bands. All of them were excellent. It was great music, food not bad. There is a booth right at the front door as soon as you enter that you can buy Buddy... More

We were in Chicago during the Blues Festival weekend & the place was humming. We didn't have tickets for a show at Buddy Guys but just popped in for dinner & to listen to the Blues. It was packed downstairs so we ate upstairs but were still able to watch what was going on downstairs via the big screen. The highlight... More

Kid-friendly and a range of food choices for everyone. There was a fine Blues soloist doing the pre-set. Service was a bit slow, but acceptable

We only had one night in downtown Chicago as we passed through town, but how can you visit Chicago without going to a blues bar? The concierge at the Palmer House recommended Buddy Guy's. It was a short 10 minute walk from the hotel. Even though it was a Sunday night, they still had live music. We had supper of... More

Such a rad place to experience a place of Blues legends. Just gotta be there to let it soak in. They were out of buddy brew on tap but the bottled version was delicious. Can't stay for the show but I know it will be a packed house.

This place is kinda legendary and it was very close to our hotel, and after reading all the positive reviews we were really looking forward to visiting this place. But to be honest, we were a little disappointed. The food was good, the people friendly, but we missed the 'down and dirty' blues!! The artist/guitarist was very good, very technical,... More

My girlfriend and I were visiting Chicago for the first time and being fans of live music we pegged this place as a must see. We planned to go on a Tuesday night and didn't really know anything about the acts that were playing, just that we should get there about 7:30 so we can get a table. Once we... More

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
