Our guide, Amanda, did a nice job explaining food stops, history of the area and merchants, and keeping the tour going at a pleasant pace. Food was tasty and just the right amount. Fun afternoon!

This is our third Chicago Food Planet tour. Each was in a different neighborhood in Chicago. We loved all of them. You not only get to sample food from small restaurants that you wouldn't normally know about, but you learn the history of the neighborhood as well. This one was in Gold Coast and Old Town. You also get acquainted... More

Perfect activity to do when traveling solo! You meet people from everywhere and enjoy a nice lunch with them. You also get personal recommendations from the friendly and knowledgable tour guides afterwards! I did the Bucktown & Wicker Park tour one day with Christina and the Gold Coast & Downtown tour the next day with Alex. I preferred the Bucktown... More

Easy walking tour that included several restaurants as well as other food related stops including spice, tea and fudge with interesting history along the way. A great afternoon and maybe you will be lucky enough to have Brian as your guide. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.

My wife were in town with four other couples for the weekend looking for something to do besides the usual shopping or museum tour. The Lincoln Park lunch tour was a fun and delicious two hour cruise through the neighborhood. Pizza, cupcakes, popcorn, a bagel sandwich and chocolate, it was all great!

My husband and I had a great tour with Heather yesterday, it was fun and informative. She was an interesting, energetic and articulate guide! It included not only delectable food tastings, but also some history of buildings and landmarks along our 3 hour walk. I can highly recommend this experience, (but go with an empty stomach). My favourite place was... More

We just finished up an excellent tour by Kent of Gold Coast & Old Chicago. It was absolutely fabulous! All the places we visited for tastings were first rate & Kent's knowledge & speaking abilities were awesome!!! Highly recommend this tour. Can't wait to try some of their others!! Learned all kinds of historical tidbits besides enjoying the food!
