All the parks in Illinois are very beautiful. Very good views and picturesque. All free too. Nice river and much to do on it!

It's not as country as it use to be, but it is about 200 yards wide by 1 mile deep with plenty of picnic benches, shade, and walking area. The very back is a parking lot with access to the Kishwaukee River... VERY shallow most...More

This location was great to put in for tubing, kayaking or canoeing. At a bend in the river. You can pull your vehicle up to load or unload. Lots of parking. Restrooms, picnic area and kept clean.
