Very cool place, thankfully there are now stairs vs a ladder! Worth the stop, right next to Queen's Hwy. There is a guard rail (probably the only one on the island) so you can't miss it!

Catheral Cave is a much more appealing name and also very appropriate. It is very exciting to walk through and just off the queens highway.

We had an excellent bus driver (Walter) and two excellent tour guides (Colleen and Lewis). They explained a lot of things along the way to the cave and it left us in expectation of what we would see/do there. If you are just riding along,...More

Dont miss this cave if you’re in the area - but dont drive an hour just to see this I’m glad they’ve put up the new staircase, make access super easy. Nice atmosphere, with ligth coming down. Not too many spiders, bats or guano

The cave is easily accessible a short, 5 minute walk from the road. It is mostly a semi-covered rock outcropping that looks like the entrance to a cave from a James Bond movie. There are literally bats hanging everywhere and spider nests in the crevices.

After a short walk on a trail, you climb down a ladder to the entrance to the cave. Walk to the right and climb down, and you won't be sorry! You can also go to the left, but it is a more difficult climb to...More

This was neat place to see. 10 minute walk from the road, 15 minutes in the cave, and walk back. There were loads of bats on the high ceilings (didn't bother anyone) and a few spiders crawling about. The ladder down was sturdy and easier...More

It's better than I thought it would be. Also, there are so many shafts open to the sky, you don't even need a flash light.
