We stopped off here having read other reviews and it didn’t disappoint. With small kids I was concerned it might involve a hike but you can park right by the access point. We had fun jumping off the rocks and the ladder access made it easy for kids and adults alike. No paddling if your a non-swimmer as there’s no shallow entry! Lovely water temperature, loads of fish and plenty of room for multiple visitors at one time. The only downside is that people bring bread to feed the fish, but that attracts the local stray dogs. They weren’t at all aggressive but might be unnerving for some.

A good place to visit for an hour if you’re in the area.

Ocean Hole is a great place to spend an hour or so jumping from various points off the cliffs. The hole itself is more than 600 feet deep and offers a wide variety of fish to see while swimming in the water. There is easy access via a ladder for everyone to get in an out of the water. The main cliff jump is 15 feet or so and there is another smaller one near the steps that might be 5 feet high.

If you have an apple watch on, the impact of the high jump could result in it being lost as that almost happened to me and did happen to a friend.

We came to Ocean Hole to check out the abundance of fish - Our snorkel book suggested going in if you want to experience swimming with a large range of fish, but looking at the murky water and lots of trash, decided to simply feed the fish from the shoreline. There were many tropical fish, some very large saltwater fish, too! We did not stay long - about 10-15 minutes at most. Worth a quick stop if you are going through Rock Sound.

Nice spot for a picnic, swimming or snorkeling. The water is very clear with a lot of colorful fish. A pretty cool spot!
Not crowded at all.

We love going here to take pictures of all the fish that are at the top waiting for food. All kinds of fish, sometimes even a Nemo

We found this to be in need of sprucing up, it once was a beautiful park but needs help now. Nice outcrop to jump into the water if you want to.

This place is awesome! Our tour guides (Colleen and Lewis) explained it to us. It is soooo beautiful. They said the hole is 600 feet deep and feeds off into the ocean. They explained that you can swim in it, but you cannot fish in it (huge fine if you get caught.) They said you cannot drown in the hole because the pressure from the bottom will push you back up to the top if you dive in.

This is worth a brief stop if you are in or passing through the area. I would concur with others that I wouldn't find it worth a long drive out of your way if you had no other reason to be in the area. Definitely bring bread! We saw lots of neat fish, but were told by locals there were a lot more that would have come to the surface if you had bread crumbs to throw in.

A bit intimidating due to the depth, but worth it so swim with all the different fish. Remember to bring some bread to really see them in action. Kids had fun jumping from the different levels.

What's more fun that snorkeling with parrot and angel fish following you around? This is a lovely natural wonder in the middle of a town.
