Nice spot for a picnic, swimming or snorkeling. The water is very clear with a lot of colorful fish. A pretty cool spot!
Not crowded at all.

A large pond that is reputedly linked to the ocean underground. Fair amount of litter; when you approach the edge, fish mingle around. I wouldn't dream of swimming in it.

We love going here to take pictures of all the fish that are at the top waiting for food. All kinds of fish, sometimes even a Nemo

We found this to be in need of sprucing up, it once was a beautiful park but needs help now. Nice outcrop to jump into the water if you want to.

On our way to Lighthouse Beach, we stopped at this attraction in Princess Cays. There are signs coming in/out of town that point you back into a residential part where Ocean Hole appears. The area around and the gazebo were a bit run down and full of trash despite the cans near by. We were also met with numerous wild dogs, who were chill when we walked past. This large quarry type area is equipped with some ladders (wooden and rope) around to facilitate swimming. You will be amazed by the fish present as you look over the edge. Reading the history behind this location including the depth and possibly connection to the ocean is very intriguing.

This place is awesome! Our tour guides (Colleen and Lewis) explained it to us. It is soooo beautiful. They said the hole is 600 feet deep and feeds off into the ocean. They explained that you can swim in it, but you cannot fish in it (huge fine if you get caught.) They said you cannot drown in the hole because the pressure from the bottom will push you back up to the top if you dive in.

This is worth a brief stop if you are in or passing through the area. I would concur with others that I wouldn't find it worth a long drive out of your way if you had no other reason to be in the area. Definitely bring bread! We saw lots of neat fish, but were told by locals there were a lot more that would have come to the surface if you had bread crumbs to throw in.

A bit intimidating due to the depth, but worth it so swim with all the different fish. Remember to bring some bread to really see them in action. Kids had fun jumping from the different levels.

What's more fun that snorkeling with parrot and angel fish following you around? This is a lovely natural wonder in the middle of a town.

We thought Ocean Hole was really cool. A natural salt water pond carved into the coral, Ocean Hole was full beautiful fish. The water was a little bit warmer than the ocean and crystal clear. We had a great time swimming there and will make sure to bring snorkeling equipment next time.
