Bjäred on a hot summerday is perfect for a visit. It is also perfect for an evening Swim 🏊♀️

Excellent to swim from the long peer, all you need is a bathing suit and a towel. Free parking. A bit crowded at times but thats just cozy and nice

The picture published by another Trip Advisor user is a good illustration. The beach is during the summer months infested by stinking seaweed and the water closest to the beach is not fit for swimming, especially for small children. Better to visit Lomma beach a mile to the south were the municipality is taking care of the conditions properly.

Great for kids, long shallow almost fresh water beach. lots of small fish to say and Swedens longest pier to walk out on. Bjerreds Saltsjöbad restaurant is nicely situated at the end, but not good value. Take picnic and eat it at the end of the pier....

The beach is beautiful but unfortunately the water isn t clean and smells a lot from seaweed. There is a long long bridge ending in a restaurant, very overprized. Sandy beach. Free parking place close.

This must be absolutely smashing in the summer.
There is a wonderful charming little work. There is a beach. A cafe located out in the see. They even have a place for having ice cream.
All this only kilometers from Lunde.

I grew up in Bjärred and decided to visit the beach with some friends. The first thing we saw was the digusting water. They haven't cleaned up at all. We took a trip on the long bridge that ends with an restaurant. The water didn't become little bit better until we reached the end. Not a place i would spend a beach day on.

There's a sauna at the en of the bridge, it was really good! The restaurant by the bridge did not open on that day as the weather was not good

Quite, beautiful beach city. Close to Lund, Malmö, and local farms. You can get fresh vegetables and fruits depending on the season. I came the 6th of May and leave July 1st 2015. May was still cool and weather was unpredictable but it stops you from nothing. The people are warm and friendly for the most part. Stockholm is a 1 hour flight north and is very cost effect. Much less then gas or the train. I spent 7 weeks here and still have so much more to see and do on my next visit. I cannot wait to return.
