A great short visit on our way back home from Velingrad. The park is really small for now and I do hope it gets bigger in the years to come. The mammoth is amazing and really impressive. There are some pretty nice fossils especially one gigantic mammoth tusk. And one of the guys there was really talkative and told us all about how the bones came to be there and some pretty interesting stuff about the animals.

The Pliocene Park is very small (it is only a hall), but interesting, especially for kids. You spent there max. 15 min. The mammoth is huge, it is an amazing experience. Every Thursday there is a free entrance. Otherwise, adults - 5 Lv and children (3 -18 y.) 3 Lv.

It's small but very nice. The mammoth figure is impressive. All explanations are translated to English. Worth a visit, especially with kids.
