It would be nice to see F.D staff or pet owners clean the paths maybe once a year Why doesn't the trail continue west to Prairie ave there is a lane that was constructed on the bridge but goes nowhere .Total waste of money

My husband and I ride bicycles together and this trail is one of our favorites. So many places to hop on the trail and start from. We usually start at the zoo. We enjoy seeing all the wildlife: deer, ducks, geese, squirrels, chipmunks, etc.

Very nice path through the forest preserves that is great for biking, walking, even jogging. There are mile markers if you are looking to go a specific distance too.

This review applies to the southern end of the trail running from Brookfileld to Oak Brook. This paved, well-marked trail follows the fairly substantial Salt Creek through the Cook County forest preserves. Much of the trial is in the woods away from traffic and development...More
