Unexpected delight in Bolingbrook

Stopped here last week after not coming here for many years. The changes they have made are very nice to see. Will come back again, just a lot sooner than before.

It's my go-to for a nice dose of nature in my neighborhood. This is a very nice place to fish, relax, take a run or just a stroll through the nature trails. It is conveniently located. If you're hanging out for the afternoon and don't pack a lunch, there a several restaurants nearby.

Nice place to go fishing at a Trout filled chain of small lakes. Bring a picnic and enjoy a nice relaxing day in a beautiful park setting. Nice hidden place for family fishing.

This area looks like fallout from a nuclear disaster! What is happening here?? It looks like something is killing off the vegetation. On the plus side, the visitor/nature center is nice but the hike down to the trout farm and the lakes is very steep from this location. You might be better off to park to the north. We saw... More

The kids love to fish here. Very nicw, clean area. We can take some nature hikes and there is a great little park at the top of a hill. Also a short bike trail that is great for our boys (7 and 5)

Miles of beautiful trails to walk, lakes for fishing, benches for sitting. It's all right here. Kids absolutely love it too.

This place is a secret gem in Bolingbrook. If you like to fish, this is the place. But if you love trees and walking - you will be in awe - during all seasons. But winter - is the best - when the willows have their own icicle display!

We visited in late October when fall colors very good. The trail to through the woods down to lake was beautiful, fairly steep and leaf covered making for dicey footing.
