You can come and whack golf balls at metal stuff. You don't need your own equipment, it's free club hire and you don't need to have ever hit a golf ball before. We like to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, so even if you've never tried whacking a ball before, feel free to pop in

Excellent driving range. Friendly staff,very well priced and offer the chance to hit golf balls at tanks. Great weekend fun with DJs and food. My wife and kids love going here and with the addition of a rewards system giving you free balls in the future it gets even better.

We were told by a family friend to visit with our inquisitive 9 year old son. We had never been to a driving range before, did a lot of 18 hole golf for kids .
My husband and son both loved the range. My son demanded to go again and we visited 3 times during school holidays.
Boomers are really Royal. They are family owned business,but with a heart of gold. It is a boon for us and we will visit regularly. You can Carry out own drinks, food and they provide with clubs and balls.
It is a place to reduce the stress, fine music and good players around us
Other players are also classy.nobody dislikes kids though.

Just finished the 6wk chip & chat ladies golf course, amazing friendly tuition from Nick & his team, Jay was a treasure keeping us supplied with balls & tees/tea’s! Met some lovely friends too. We all thoroughly enjoyed learning to play at this fabulous friendly golf range & will definitely be keeping it up.
The added bonus is the gorgeous toilets too 😀

Nick and the team do a fantastic job of making a driving range experience fun and informative.
There top class teaching team have lowered many handicaps.
I for one have benefited from Nicks professional one on one lessons.
It's my go to driving range, plus who doesn't want to hit tanks on a lovely summer Evening.

I had a trial with the PXG Driver this morning and visited here for the first time. Nick was friendly and has a great set up here, the fitting went well and next time I’m passing with my clubs I will be back in

What can I say but wow!! The owner Nick really is ahead of the game, with his innovative ideas to make your life easier whilst allowing you to improve your golf. With 4 washing machines on site, you can take care of your dirty laundry whilst learning to draw and fade your balls. In fact its helped me so much, its taken my draw and fade skills to the next level I can now hook and slice at will.
Best driving range around and he's got chickens. What more could you ask for!
The range is well laid out with lots of unusual targets to aim at, including a car and washing machines. The car is an addictive target that I've spent countless hours and 100's of balls trying to hit - i'm sure it's got some kind of Star Trek defensive cloak around it!
Nick offers a number of different ways to use the range including by the hour or number of balls. He offers lessons, friendly advice, and specific nights catering for Ladies. He also runs junior classes which seem very popular.
Great staff including Ian, who is always willing to pass on good advice and loves nothing more to chat about bygone times when his football team use to be good.
Thanks Nick for running such a great driving range.

Great fun and fantastic value for money. Very friendly team that manages the venue. You can pay by the half hour for unlimited balls, or pay for balls by the basket.

I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have visited many golf driving ranges.
Boomers and Swingers is without doubt the best I have ever visited !
Whenever I have visited I always get a friendly welcome, all the staff can't do enough.
There are many great ranges with brilliant mats, balls etc.... Boomers has all this with one special extra !!!! The place is not a massive corporate chain, it feels like you get a personal service !!! Nick will even give tips and have a laugh completely free of charge !
I am lucky to live pretty close to the best range I have ever visited . Thanks Everyone at Boomers and Swingers

Nick Solski and his team have developed an amazing Golf Centre called “Boomers & Swingers”
All modern facilities with friendly and helpful staff catering for players of all abilities.
This golf centre is ideally located and they have great events all year round.

12 months ago I could not hit a golf ball. At my age (well over 60!) I am never going to be a great golfer, but now I can get around a golf course fairly competently! Keeping me supple and fitter than I have been for some time so it’s not just all about the game! Coaching is brilliant and caters for all ages and infirmities! There is a price structure to suit everyone’s pocket, good quality balls and mats, plenty of fun targets to aim at and new ideas being implemented on a very regular basis. A coffee machine which dispenses excellent quality coffee, nice clean toilet facility. There are special weekly coaching sessions for youngsters and ladies at a cost that cannot be beaten. At least once every month a Ladies Night is held and it is just so good. The coaching sessions are also flexible so there is no large outlay. At present it is turn up and pay on the day so is excellent for those with a busy lifestyle that may not have time to attend every week. Nick and his team are welcoming and friendly and they don’t just sit behind the desk , they are out and about around the range giving encouragement and free tips. I am fortunate to live fairly close by so it is a regular weekly haunt for me but it is well worth a trip out to use the facility. There is also a simulator room, so if the weather is a bit chilly you can have a game indoors. Since the range was taken over by nick it has gone from strength to strength. Some innovative deals and challenges to be had so well worth keeping an eye on the face book page. After your range session, there is a great pub right across the road (The Archer) serving a variety of well cooked meals (and gin). There is nothing not to like about Boomers and Swingers and as you can probably tell, it gets a big thumbs up from me!

Do they give golf lessons to absolute beginners? Times and fees please.

Hi Steve, absolutely. The worse you are, the quicker we can get you improving!
£50 for 60 minute lesson! If you dont improve, you dont pay!
