A hidden little gem in an unexpected area. On the heritage day, we got a guided tour & a bit of history about the Moravian church. It was interesting & the architecture is fabulous

Been to visit the Movarian Society,it’s hard to believe I’ve lived in Manchester all my life and have never been before. It’s like stepping back in time. It’s so well kept, still lived in and just off a busy Main Street. Unfortunately the church wasn’t open...More

Extremely interesting to 'step back in time' in an area where most people drive past not realising what a gem it is. It's not surprising that it appears in many TV and films. Instead of passing just drive in and have a wander next time.

I have driven past this settlement many times but never stopped. This time I did out of curiousity. It is fascinating. The houses and cobbled streets give it a timeless quality and I am sure that the society housed there could tell a few stories....More

This absolute gem is on our doorstep and it is like stepping back in history as soon as you enter, no wonder it has appeared so many time in TV programmes. Interesting little museum on the history of the settlement

A beautiful area. You do feel as if you have traveled back to a bygone age. It's easy to see why TV companies love this area for filming period drama.

If it wasn't for the cars, you could easily believe you were back in the 1700s! I discovered the settlement when I was a teenager and decades later I'm still fascinated by it. The architecture is stunning and the church is a 'must visit', as...More

I live not very far away, and have told people about the Square. They are always astounded when they visit. From the main roads you would not know such a place existed. It was built by a religious group and remains owned by the Moravian...More

This area is local to us and we wandered around one fine summer day. The buildings are beautiful and it is a place of historic interest. Good for a little local walk.

As I live about 5 mins from here, I visit regularly! I have friends that live in the square and my daughter attends Rainbows here. Once you turn off the main road, you are immediately taken back in time, from the cobbled Street, to the...More
