Not really worth the trip. This place has been the same for decades - it's a second-rate junk trap with vendors trying to sell the same crap for years. I think that apart from them enjoying a nice social weekend with their other vendor friends, this is a total waste of time. Nothing new there, no turnover, no new vendors etc.

Visited Samir's Rugs at the Courtice Flea Market. Rohan will help you find that perfect rug for your entrance way, or a beautiful area rug. There is a large selection and if he doesn't have your size he can customize a rug to fit your needs.

His prices are AMAZING!!! You wont be disappointed! So if you live in Durham Region or Clarington-stop in on the weekend. He is in one of the three buildings.

I love this place, my friend Sandi and I go every Sunday. It's a surprise every time find new treasure. First stop Carolyn's Liquidation to buy some stuff that's great deals, then it's time and buy some fresh fruit and vegetables from the boys Dominic and Stephen (love the 10.00 fruit or vegetable basket) then now to see what else we can find. Furniture, books, clothing (has great big sizes to 5x) and other treasures. I feel at home here and I look forward to the new owners updating the buildings.

Absolutely nothing you need here. I find it all to be stuff NO ONE ELSE wants. Will not return. Flra Markets are not what they use to be.

Junk junk and more junk! Overpriced junk! Would never attend this place again! Parking is awful, mud and dirt for the lot.

Hello Kelly M, Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback - good and bad. Sorry, we did not meet your expectations. The Courtice Flea Market offers an authentic flea market experience. We do have new products typically found in the main building, (clothes, cell phone accessories, prints etc, etc), but we also have a high volume of hobbies, collectibles, hand made crafts and yes, used items. The value of junk is in the eye of the beholder and as the saying goes, "one person's junk is another person's treasure." If you're looking to experience the modern day version of a flea market, I would recommend you visit the Pickering Flea Market or some of the markets in Toronto. There you will find vendors offering a larger variety of imported inventory at bargain prices. Thanks again for taking the time to visit us, and I wish you all the best in your flea market excursions.

This flea market has a good mix of old and new stuff as well as fresh foods from local farmers. It's not just a collection of cell accessory vendors. (They have those too if that is what you want.)
There are indoor and outdoor displays so weather is not an issue.

Biking is a good way to work off the calories from the food vendors. A bike rack is available.

Check their website for special events: Halloween, Easter, classic cars, etc.

I live nearby so I usually visit a couple of times per month.

As a first time visitor, one has to be impressed with the friendliness and variety of products to be found in this old former lumber yard. Like many other such markets, vendors are located in various building throughout the property but unlike other markets, the vendors here are at their booths and can always provide assistance - and, if required, negotiation on their prices.

Oh yes, there are some terrific food vendors too - It's hard to pick one as each one seems to provide a tempting specialty.

There are a couple of particularly large vendors - the largest I have encountered - one selling vintage records, dvd's, cd's, etc. and another displaying die cast cars, neon light signs and other 1950's memorabilia. Quite outstanding. Another booth specialized in M & M dispensers. Very Unique.

This is a family friendly venue, with lots of room to roam and interesting items of all types at every turn.

Lots of free parking, great food choices, friendly vendors, a nice farmers market, a peaceful rural setting - what more can one ask for?

Do stop by - we did, and not only did we find a couple of "treasures" to purchase, but we were able to enjoy a great lunch and also have pleasant chats with several of the vendors.

An enjoyable couple of hours for sure.

Hi Charlie T. Thanks for your review of the flea market on Trip Adviser. Glad you have fun when you visit! We're always working to improve our vendor mix, and it does vary from weekend to weekend, and season to season. If you know anyone who sells at flea markets, let them know about us. I'd be happy to hear from them. All the best.

If you live close it are in the neighborhood, worth stopping in, but not worth it just to go if you live a distance away.

Nice mix of new and old and antiques. Many of the outdoor booths were empty..disappointing.

Found a couple little garage sale type items.
