We used this park for breaking in our tent trailer, since it is very close to our home. The park is fine, but there is not a lot to do if the weather is unco-operative. We went and it was cold and raining, in the...More

The campground is very close to oshawa - which is a 10 minute drive. The campsites are well kept and the campground facilities are decent - its a nice campground for a family/friends weekend trip close to the city.

42 dollars for camping whose toilets and showers are absolutely disgusting. The trains passing continuously and sounding their horn all night. People yelling and playing music until 2:30 am. The person at the front desk barely smiles and does his job to the minimum. I...More

Lots of space to bbq and picnic. Plenty of shade and small but pretty beach. Only downfall... people are disrespectful of your space and will talk through your area and some bad apples ...not clean and will throw garbage in the trees and bushes

This is a lovely smaller provincial park just off the 401 east. We were able to get a campsite at the water's edge, however there was a chain link fence between the water and the site itself. There is a fairly nice beach and picnic...More

Hilltop is best for shade & privacy and the sites in the 240 -250 sites are big. Just go on website click on campground map & most sites have pictures.

I believe the park is closed during winter. To confirm this, go to the website for Provincial Parks.
