In another review, I referred to Shoshone Falls as the main attraction in Twin; however, for me, the bridge is the coolest thing.
Now, on the one hand, my bias is pretty strong: I love bridges. I think they're awesome. This is a particularly cool bridge that you can walk across or under, or at certain times even take a boat beneath.
On the other hand, this bridge is also just very cool; it's also the only man-made structure in the US that you can BASE jump from whenever you want, though that's not personally for me. A great place to visit!

The Perrine Bridge spans over the Snake River at a height of 486 feet and is a popular spot for BASE jumpers. BASE jumpers jump from a platform in the middle of the bridge and parachute down to a landing spot on a hiking path. The jumpers are best seen from the east side of the bridge. The scenic overlook on the east side can be accessed from Bridgeview Blvd behind a shopping center. While the bridge itself is impressive, the views of the river and canyon are even more spectacular. Visitors can access hiking trails from the Visitor’s Center on the west side of the bridge and can also walk across the bridge on both sides. We weren’t able to visit the Visitor’s Center or hike the trails, but we were just thrilled to see the Base jumper and enjoy the views.

We were heading out of Twin Falls and crossed this great bridge. Spotting a parking area we just had to stop and get some photos. The bridge is a construction marvel, the views over the river are fantastic and we even saw some folk jumping from the bridge and paragliding to the river. Well worth a visit

This bridge is very cool and even on a weekday we got to see base jumpers. The bridge is easily accessed from the Twin Falls Visitor center. It can also be accessed from the Best Buy / Home Goods parking lot. The visitor center has spots designated for RVs.

This is the second bridge that has spanned the Snake River Canyon at this location. The first one was only two lanes and was a toll bridge when it originally opened 100 years ago. It too held the same name, Perrine, named after the father of the Magic Valley and city of Twin Falls.
The one now was planned not only for high density traffic but, also for pedestrians to walk around, under and across for spectacular views. It is the highest bridge in the USA that allows base jumping by parachutes and the jumpers can be watched jumping most fair weather days adding to your experience and enjoyment.
Fantastic man-made structure for your videos, photos and draw enjoyment hovering over 500feet above the Snake River below.....

I was told the free-falling is year-round and requires no permit. I need no permit to watch, which is as far as I'd go. That translates into jumpers from the bridge happening often, parachutes opening as kayakers below watch and retrieve. What shouldn't;t be over-looked is the engineering feat of the beautiful bridge. A must stop by to park and walk down to some viewing areas of the bridge and fantastic snake river gorge.

We were able to see lots of base jumpers off the bridge both while we paddled underneath and when we went back to watch a sunset. A fun bridge with interesting history. Nice walking paths around it for strolling or biking. Lots of people gather at sunset in the parking lots and view areas.

The landscape surrounding the bridge is very scenic. The Visitor Center, parking lot, and Canyon Rim Trail are all right by the bridge. We were able to watch three base jumpers jump from the bridge, which was interesting to see. We also walked out on the pedestrian walkway of the bridge.

The area around and under the bridge is flat and easy to walk, and the view from the bridge were pretty spectacular. The best part was watching the base jumpers jump off the bridge in the morning. We were there at about 9 am and saw 7 or 8 people jump with parachutes. It was amazing!

Beautiful sunny day, what better to view this impressive bridge across the Snake River? It is easy to get to, huge parking lot, next to the visitor's center with gift shop. You can spend as little time here, or take a walk on the path. Great engineering and design.
We visited in the late afternoon, sun light was perfect for photograph. Free activity.

Hey Craig, do you still offer bungee jumping at Perrin Bridge? Do I need to make reservations? Do you have a price list?
