We have been going to Redfish for over 15 years; it is a magical, majestic and the perfect place to get away, until now. Traffic is overwhelming, the beach is packed, the lake is bumper boats! You get away from it all along side everyone else! What was once a secluded location, tucked back into the beautiful Sawtooth mountains is... More

Drove around the lake and was disappointed most areas were closed because it was out of season. Beautiful view of lake. Many water type activities are available. Went with dinner in mind. Had drink at nice fireside bar. Menu was appealing for fine dining, but VERY expensive.$ 24 to 38 range for entree. Left and went back to Stanley for... More

Spent a week in Ketchum/Sun Valley area so did a lot of trails and mountain hiking while there. Our favorite day was when we drove to Redfish Lake. On the way, we saw beautiful views, a herd of Pronghorn up close and personal and a flock of sheep being herded through a valley by sheepdogs. When we arrived at Redfish,... More

We spent a late afternoon/evening at the lake and ate dinner at the lodge. Spectacularly clear water with nice boat dock with boat rentals. Lodge dinner was good, service was a bit stuffy but food was really good.

In our 5000 mile road trip, stopped in South Dakota, Rocky Mountain national forest, Jackson WY, Tetons, Yellowstone, Ketchum, Canyonlands, Arches. Redfish lake was the most beautiful and relaxing. Camped out in a nice campground, with a good view, and bathrooms nearby. The beaches were nice and many were dog friendly. Perfectly clear water and calm, great for paddle boarding.... More

This is a must do attraction. If you can stay at the redfish lodge, do it! So much packed into three days here for us and right near Stanley. Hiking, boating, kayaks, swimming, horse back riding and ranger led activities. Great all around.

This is an idyllic beautiful mountain lake right outside of Stanley and faces out form the Redfish Lake Lodge. We took a fast motor boat the length on the lake to a trailhead and it was great fun. What's wonderful about the Sawtooths is that it's as beautiful as anywhere, but there's almost no one around, The trails are pretty... More

My husband & I caught the 7:00am shuttle to the inlet transfer camp. As long as there is a party of at least two, the shuttle is available upon demand. The staff at the marina were informative and pleasant. It's just a 7 minute ride to the trailhead. The lake was quiet and calm in the early morning hours and so-o... More

My husband & I arrived early to go kayaking & do some fishing. No fish in sight where we were. We were later told by someone that there are particular spots for the fishing, which we didn't happen to hit. Loved this place.
