Couldn't have picked a better company - Middle Fork River Tours - Clint, Molly and the gang made this a perfect trip. We've rafted quite a lot but this was our first trip on the Middle Fork. The river was a little low but still spectacular and the scenery was beautiful The guides, food, attention to detail and company were outstanding. It's really nice to spend a week with such a professional, fun and personable group of rafters and guides. Thanks!

All I can say to Rocky, is “THANK YOU!” I’ve now been on two Middle Fork trips with Rocky Mountain River Tours, each more incredible than the last.

It’s really nice to have the flexibility choose the between the back of the rafts (dry), the front (splashy and fun), the action of paddleboat - where we get to paddle! (more wet, but warm from “working”), or the inflatable kayaks (fun and wet) each day.

Even with the spring’s high water rapids I felt safe the entire time no matter what boat I was in, as the guides know the river like the back of their hand. The Rocky team caters to all ages; another family on our trip even had an 80-year old along with them!

The food is better than most high-end restaurants, with fresh fruit, hand-made salads, steaks to order, as well as more than enough beer and wine each evening. After exciting days on the river and evenings at camp, each night was spent comfortably dozing to the sound of the river in a spacious tent, and comfortable sleeping bags.

I was the other friend mentioned in Michael R's review. I have to concur with everything Mick has said and can only add what a hoot we had all made special but the good company of all of Clint's team. They made you feel like you weren't a client but at the same time also treated and spoilt you like a client. Sometimes they were a bit slow getting the cocktail bar set up...... only joking, it was there and waiting when we put in at the end of the day. As Mick stated we want to return with friends... but be warned Clint we were the quiet small drinkers, the others might put Mick and me to shame. Thanks again for making this week a highlight of my 7 week USA trip... and that's a compliment given that I trekked in Glacial National Park, saw a lot of Utah and ended up at Burning Man.

A friend and I from Australia were lucky enough to do a 5 day rafting trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in August 14.Besides the sensational scenery and the thrills of the rapids, rock pools, cliff jumping and much more,Clint and Scoop's guide team looked after us so well and were natural and great fun to boot. The food and drink were great and the evenings around the campfire were lovely.Hats off to the owners Clint and Molly and the entire team.Garry and I intend to bring friends back for another go in the near future

I am not sure what was better - the incredible "River of No Return" Wilderness, or the fantastic guides who got us through it. The tour alternated between unbelievable relaxation and exhilarating thrills through the whitewater. And through it all, the guides at MFRT - led by Scoop and Clint - made sure that it was the best experience possible. I am not sure how they were able to pull off making a 5 day adventure through the biggest wilderness area in the Lower 48 the height of both adventure and luxury, but they pulled it off. Great job. If you are thinking about a wilderness adventure or the Middle Fork, this has to be at the top of your bucket list.

If you love the outdoors a lot or even just a little, this trip will steal your heart and refresh your soul! The Middle Forks River Tours crew will guide you through the most beautiful sites of the Middle Fork Salmon River and Sawtooth Mountain range. The guides provided excellent service, were professional and personable! Not only were they skilled river guides, they were incredible cooks! They provided 3 meals a day that were 5-star quality!! The equipment was top notch making for an exciting and comfortable rafting/camping experience. Thank you , Clint and Molly Frank, "Scoop" and all of the guides , oh and Banner the river dog for making this - A trip of a lifetime!!!! MFRT ROCKS!

Just got back from a week of rafting on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with Middle Fork River Tours. Clint and Molly Frank run a first rate operation with experienced guides and top-notch service. Their equipment was excellent: Good sleeping mats and bags, and, if you have to sleep in a tent, theirs were fine. They provide dry bags for your "stuff." And the food!! The other reviews capture it well -- it was outstanding. Hard to believe we were in the middle of a wilderness area when we were eating (and drinking) like that. You have a choice each day of paddling a raft (with a guide) or riding an oar boat (the guide does all the paddling). And if you are really adventuresome, they have inflatable kayaks for one. The size of the group (23) was great, the scenery was unbelievable, and everything was well organized. When we got fogged in the first day, they found a way to get us flown out to the put-in location so we still got some time on the river. Cannot recommend this organization highly enough. A great experience.

My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation early August 2014 with Rocky Mountain River Tours. It was an incredible adventure with a top notch company. They were incredibly organized and helpful, from the day we put our deposit down until the day we said goodbye. The river guides were professional and knowledgeable. They worked extremely hard to make sure everyone was having a great vacation. I cannot imagine a friendlier, more fun group of people and they were a highlight of the trip. In addition, the food was incredible, the equipment clean and nice. The rafting was a lot of fun, as was the kayaking and fishing. The scenery was amazing. This was a very relaxing, fun vacation where we felt like we could get away from the stresses of daily life. I would highly recommend a trip down the Middle Fork and Rocky Mountain River Tours would be my first choice if we ever do it again!

So, my biggest problem during our 6 days of river rafting was coming up with new superlatives so as not to sound redundant! Clint and Molly Frank are the wonderful proprietors of Middle Fork River Tours. They leave no stone unturned to make your river trip an unforgettable experience.A day on the river can be unpredictable. It can be a gorgeous sunny day, and in an instant you can be in the middle of a downpour. Clint and his team keep you a step ahead of what Mother Nature has to offer, keeping you as safe and comfortable as one can possibly be in the wilderness. Let's start from the first contact with MFRT. Molly's relaxed and reassuring style on the phone set the stage for what was to come. Molly, by the way, shops, prepares and does so much behind the scenes preparation and in her humble and quiet way, sets the stage for the success that is MFRT. On the river, Clint and his crew of capable and knowledgeable guides made sure that all of our needs were met. After a day out on the river, you come home to a beautiful campsite already set up for the evening. A cocktail bar awaits, along with delicious appetizers of anything from smoked trout with a variety of local mustards to salmon with cream cheese and capers. Crudités, roast pork with mustard sesame dip, edamame, all expertly prepared. Meals were fantastic, all prepared in Dutch ovens. Salmon. Chicken, steak, and probably the best duck breast I have ever eaten! You will be amazed at what this team can cook!! Clint is the embodiment of what a host should be. Enthusiastic, friendly, kind, patient, knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, energizing, encouraging, and very easy on the eyes, if I may say so!! ( sorry if your cheeks turn red Clint :). Clint is a fireman by trade and you really feel safe with him in any situation. He always makes you feel like he's got it all under control ( except the bees! Will ya talk to mama nature about that one?!) my husband and I are gluten free, and not only were they accommodating, but they seemed to even enjoy the challenge of making everything taste as good or better than the gluten counterpart. They were all so proud to present their latest gluten free creation! We actually learned some great recipes to take home! I could go on and on, ( and I must shout out a heart felt thank you and hugs to our crew, Aaron, Seena, Laurie, Reese, Jonnie, and Ted. You guys are the best!! If you are ever going to take the challenge of spending 6 days down the river of no return, I can't imagine going with anyone else!
