This was a trip of a lifetime I got to enjoy with my family ! The guides were knowledgeable about scenery, wildlife, and made you feel safe throughout the whole adventure! We saw bears, otters, bighorn sheep and birds! Not to mention we got to go through some amazing rapids in kayaks and paddle boats! I made connections with new folks and got to know the guides well. They’re hard working good folk, and I would highly recommend this adventure for family and friends! Breathtaking scenery the whole way, delicious restaurant quality food, and great campsites. Shoutout to charlie, Chloe, Danny, Anica, Corey, and Johnny for a great trip to remember!

As a family that was going from only ever doing a day rafting trip to doing a 5 nighter, i was a little apprehensive about how my wife and daughters would handle it, but they all thrived and it was mostly due to Clint and his amazing crew and the variation of activities they had...and the amazing food haha. There is something for everyone on this trip and you can do as much or as little as you want and nobody cares either way. You can paddle all day, go for a hike, fish, sit in the hot springs, play yard games....or you can just chill in the row boat and take a nap. The scenery and wildlife is unbelievable...we saw bears, otters, bald eagles, big horn sheep, dear, osprey, fish, etc. This is a totally unplugged family experience that you will never forget and you will grow much closer to all those you experience it with.

If you want the greatest outdoor experience imaginable, book a trip with Middle Fork River Tours. It is a world class, 5-star adventure on an amazing river in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Clint, Molly and their entire staff are exceptional. This was my second trip with MFRT and I’ve already booked my third; I wouldn’t go with anyone else!

One of the most amazing trips I have ever been on! Our experience with MFRT was 5-stars from start to finish. Molly, Clint and their amazing, hard-working crew of 7 made this a trip of a lifetime.
The crew was personable, kind, funny and such hard workers. Each day they set up a beautiful camp for the group and made delicious meals morning, lunch and at dinner. We found everything to be clean and no detail left unnoticed. If you want to see one of the most beautiful wilderness areas our country has and feel like you are at a 5-star resort this is the trip for you!

Went with about 20 friends and it was awesome! Clint (owner) had hard working guides Anika, Loraine, Corey, Dan and Johnny. They had a heck of a time herding the cats. Got us through the wave action with skill and finesse. BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER AND APPS were superb. I already copied a meal at home. Thanks Molly! Trip of a lifetime. Gods country for sure.

We recently had the family adventure of a lifetime! Middle Fork River Tours came highly recommended and did not disappoint, giving us an experience to remember.
We floated at fairly high water and the skill and professionalism of the guides was demonstrated on more than one occasion.
The camp site selection, food, sights and side tours were wonderful and Clint, Lorraine, Annika, Sam, Danny, John, Max and Will were all around great and their personalities enriched our trip.
Will, we are forever in your debt for what you did in Rubber...

Middle Fork River Tours is the best group to travel with on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. They specialize in combining a fantastic informative crew of guides with the spectacular scenery on the Middle Fork. The variety of experiences from riding the oar “pleasure” boat to paddling Class 2-3 rapids in a paddle boat or a “duckie” (inflatable kayak), cliff jumping, soaking in hot springs, swimming in the river, drinking fresh spring water, and hiking made this trip memorable. The crew is super safety conscious and this is much appreciated. The meals provided were amazing, as delicious as you would get at a superb restaurant. We also had a wonderful fun loving group of travelers! Great memories on and off the river! Many many thanks to Clint and Molly and our hard working crew of Danny, Johnny (sweep boat captain extraordinaire), Sam, Corey, Annica and Laurie! Kudos to all! Hope to see you again either on the river or at your favorite ski resort.

What makes a perfect vacation? Scenery (this was absolutely breath-taking!), food (meals were totally gourmet!), adventure (what more can be said - it was white water rafting at it's best!), a variety of activities (kayaking, hiking, fishing and relaxing in hot springs) , sleeping under a million stars and an incredible tour guiding company (Middle Fork River Tours!) down the Middle Fork of the Salmon. You could not ask for a better package and it was Middle Fork River Tours that made it happen with such friendly professionalism, knowledge, and experience. I would do this with MFRT over and over knowing there is always something new to experience with wonderful guides.

Like all the other reviewers, I have only great things to say about our experience on the Middle Fork with MFRT. Thanks to the gourmet food and the attentive service provided by our fabulous and tremendously skilled guides, we felt like we were at a five-star floating hotel--in the midst of one of the world's most scenic wilderness areas. This is a super well-run company that goes above and beyond to make your week with them an unforgettable one. Cannot recommend this trip or this company highly enough.
