Our twelfth trip with Middle Fork River Tours. That should say it all. We love good service, so we keep coming back to Middle Fork River Tours.
Frank Church Wilderness Area speaks for itself. Largest, most remote wilderness area in lower 48 States. Magnificent, with water so pure you can drink it coming right out of the rocks. Gotta love it.
MFRT guides are excellent camp and dutch oven cooks operating with a well thought out menu that would cost a bundle to enjoy in a fine restaurant. They provide first rate gear, or you can bring your own.

As a fishing guide in Montana I choose MFRT base on the personal attention Mollie and Clint’s company demonstrate from first touch to last and the value of the trip. The river guides get the owners leadership and provide every guest with outstanding service. From fishing to food, equipment to safety, smiles to good byes, they rock with everyone, especially old guys!

There are literally no words for how amazing our trip on the Middle Fork was. Middle Fork River Tours poured so much time and effort into spoiling us in every way and left our family with so many amazing memories. Our guides were Lorraine, Annika, Sam, Danny, Cory, Jon and Piper and each guide went out of there way to ensure my family had an amazing week. Of course the experience, camp, activities and food were excellent but they also found personal ways to lavish attention on our family as well. For example: My 17 year old son wants to be a river guide and after the guides learned this they spent SO much time with him "teaching him some of the ropes" and he LOVED it! My son literally told me the week was life changing for him.....
The MFRT team feels like a family and I found their team dynamics and how the treated us heartwarming. We will be back for sure!

The service was first rate from the day the trip was booked through follow up emails. The guides were extremely prepared, skilled, knowledgeable, hard working, endlessly patient and lots of fun. They were the last to bed and the first up. Great food, fabulous scenery (incomparable) and wild rapids. The guests were wondeful too.

What makes a perfect vacation? Scenery (this was absolutely breath-taking!), food (meals were totally gourmet!), adventure (what more can be said - it was white water rafting at it's best!), a variety of activities (kayaking, hiking, fishing and relaxing in hot springs) , sleeping under a million stars and an incredible tour guiding company (Middle Fork River Tours!) down the Middle Fork of the Salmon. You could not ask for a better package and it was Middle Fork River Tours that made it happen with such friendly professionalism, knowledge, and experience. I would do this with MFRT over and over knowing there is always something new to experience with wonderful guides.

Amazing experience with amazing people. We did the 5 day trip and had tons of options each day from paddle boating, kayaking or lounging on the oar boats. Small optional hikes are usually offered during the stop for lunch.
The quality of the food was outstanding. The dinners were better than many city restaurants. The staff was the best part though. Amazing customer service but with a laid back attitude. It really felt like we were camping with a giant group of friends who randomly were all great cooks. We were continually impressed with all the river guides. Worth every penny. We'll book again.

This was a trip of a lifetime I got to enjoy with my family ! The guides were knowledgeable about scenery, wildlife, and made you feel safe throughout the whole adventure! We saw bears, otters, bighorn sheep and birds! Not to mention we got to go through some amazing rapids in kayaks and paddle boats! I made connections with new folks and got to know the guides well. They’re hard working good folk, and I would highly recommend this adventure for family and friends! Breathtaking scenery the whole way, delicious restaurant quality food, and great campsites. Shoutout to charlie, Chloe, Danny, Anica, Corey, and Johnny for a great trip to remember!

It's hard to imagine a better way to spend time with family and friends than a river trip. And it's hard to imagine a better outfitter than MFRT. Our crew was amazing--fun, personable, knowledgeable, talented, and fantastic cooks! There was so much to do, on the river and off. This company knows what it is doing and this river is a not to be missed adventure of a lifetime... or, if you are lucky, every summer!

My family and I went into this trip with very high expectations and it exceeded them on every front. The Franks are amazing owners who have a "world-class" crew. From the rafting, fishing, duckies and the hiking....everything was AWESOME!! As for the food, it was top-notch every day and there is nothing better than Dutch Oven cooking. What was even more impressive is that my wife is Gluten-free and every meal had an option that she loved.
My family can't wait to get back out to do our next trip with this FANTASTIC group!!

These guys know what they are doing, and they excel at every aspect!
Incredible attention to detail and quality throughout. They made it easy and seamless. Majestic beauty, fresh air, abundant wildlife, white water, hot springs and wonderful people.
