Not what I expected. Typically small museums are not well laid out nor have a smooth flow from one display to another. Here, this was NOT the case. I thought the museum was "top notch" / well organized / tremendous presentations and great artifacts. The plant arboretum was also well done. The staff was excellent too.

Like all small museums, there is some inconsistency in presentation and curation because there is never enough person-power to research everything required to provide explanations of just how some of the tools and trappings on display fit into life in the past, but this place does way better than most. You can learn a lot here. Only a small percentage of their collection is on display at any one time, and they change the displays twice a year; an ambitious undertaking to be sure. One could spend a full day here without fully seeing all that is on display. Nearly all of it interesting, About as professional a small, rural museum as we've seen.
