I've been on countless raft trips in my lifetime, both self supported and guided. Our trip with MFWO was hands down the best experience I've ever had on the water. We booked a private trip with a large group of friends and Willis + crew tailored the trip to us flawlessly. MFWO brought the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. With every detail taken care of, we were able to unwind and enjoy the middle fork to its fullest extent. Most importantly, we feel we left the river with lifelong friends in the MFWO crew. We will absolutely be booking with Willis again in the future.

MFWO is a great outfit. Our trip on the middle fork will be something we will remember forever. The staff is attentive to all of the details. They helped my 11 year old son and 15 year old daughter learn to fly fish. Safety was always the number one priority but fun was a very close second. We never felt rushed at any stops and always had plenty of time to explore. The guides were knowledgable about the regional history. We never felt pressured to do things that felt uncomfortable for us. Guides made 5 star meals every night. I really don't know if I've eaten better at any resort. Best of all, the guides became friends, took time to get to know us, hung out with our kids and just made it feel like a big family. Highly recommend MFWO.

My son and I had a fantastic time. The guides were knowledgeable and made our time down the river very memorable. The food far exceeded my expectations as well. Each day was a choose-your-own-adventure trip. We could go on hikes, float on the gear boat, run an IK, or be a part of a paddleboat crew.
The campsites were spacious and very relaxing. I was impressed how they maximized each day on the river and didn’t get to camp too soon. However, at the same time, we weren’t rushed to break camp in the morning either.
We are booking a trip for next year!

With best friends from the past and best friends made on this trip, our lives were all changed and enhanced after experiencing the middle fork wilderness with the MFWO crew. I’m a guide on expeditions in Alaska and have never seen river skills, camping and cooking skills, and sheer awesomeness in another group of people as I did with the Middle Fork Wilderness Outfitters. Professional and fun you guys truly blew me away! I could not give a higher rating! Don’t hesitate and go with MFWO!

The excellent scenery and white water are a given. The personable, hard-working and knowledgeable guides greatly added to the overall experience. The food and culinary expertise of the guides exceeded my best expectations. Tents I could stand up in and cots were nice!

Super awesome trip of a lifetime! Three generations of my family enjoyed the adventure on so many levels; family time, exciting rapids, history, natural beauty, meeting new friends. I recommend it to everyone!

Between the food, views, conversation, rapids and general peace of mind, this was a life changing experience. MFWO provides a outdoor experience like none other. I would recommend this to anyone anytime. My family came close on this trip and now have memories to last a lifetime. UNTIL NEXT TIME MFWO!

I went with my family and our family friends. We had a blast and always were entertained and had fun. The guides are so helpful and kind. It was an amazing trip, that I will definitely be doing again.

This was a once in a lifetime trip for my family and me, and Middle Fork Wilderness Outfitters made sure that it was something that we would never forget. The guides' knowledge of the river and it's history was outstanding. Where ever we stopped along our journey they could tell you how the different rock formations were made, where the Native American pictographs were, and could point out the remnants of the Indians' camps. The guides also knew the best fishing spots, and with their help, I caught my first fish on a fly pole!!
I will never forget this trip, not just because of the beautiful mountains, the untamed river, sleeping under a million stars, or the calmness that comes with being so close to nature, but because Middle Fork Wilderness Outfitters cared about making sure I felt welcome.
